I don't think we should invest in unproven players like Messi..I hear there is this great talented striker in Australia called Heskey, he would be an amazing signing.
Emre CAN do it.

MUTU and his dreams!

Hypothetically speaking, you should know that if we were to go for him, you'll have to part ways with Gomez and maybe even Robben.
Robbie's fine but Gomez, are you willing to do that? :P

No place for Messi on this team. He would also hinder the development of Shaqiri :!:

Who's this guy? I know little about him, to be honest, but from what I gathered online, it seems he's not good enough to play at Stoke City. Why on earth would we want him here then?!

It's not totally unbelievable. With massive backers such as Adidas (who sponsor Messi), Audi, T-Mobile, Lufthansa etc, the funds may certainly be there to mount some sort of attempt at purchasing him.

But then sense over rules and you realise that noone will ever pay that for someone who could do in their knees in an instant and loose all that value (unless the "Messi Image Brand " is deemed more worthy than what they pay).

Fee is too high for such a young player.

I was wondering when this topic would come up, ever since Guardiola's appointment.

FC Bayern are after the signature of Lionel Messi

I've heard about this player, he is supposed to be the next Mario Goetze...
