From videos looks very promising but everyone looks quite good on youtube videos.
His style and body looks like Van Der Wiel, hope he is smarter than him...

Bring him, I trust Reschke with closed eyes and I just have huge respect for Ajax youth system!

This.

I've never seen a player look terrible in a highlight video

But this like others have said looks physically well built and an intelligent defender. He doesn't seem to be attacking oriented or pacy like Bernat which I prefer.

Don't know.. I'd prefer a RB who can attack aswell. The old Dani Alves kind of RB, together with Costa..

Hardly.
His form is not close to his form before the winter break, but on the right he can develop a much bigger threat. Especially with overlapping wingers.
On the left it's basically just running passt the full-back for him.
On the right he can actually score.

Ajax's Kenny Tete on Bayern Munich interest [source]

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Kenny Tete from Ajax, but the defender is in talks to extend his contract in Netherlands.

Ajax defender Kenny Tete is unsure if reports of interest from Bayern Munich have any truth behind them, but insists his only focus is winning the Eredivisie.
Tete has made two appearances for Netherlands and has been linked with a switch to the Bundesliga champions.
The 20-year-old does not know if talk of alleged interest from Bayern is accurate, but is adamant his only priority is making a successful comeback from a lengthy ankle injury and reclaiming the Eredivisie title with Ajax.
"I saw those rumours come up, but I don't know if the interest is serious," Tete told De Telegraaf.
"I have not spoken with my agent because I'm just working on my recovery and I am concentrated on winning the championship.
"You have to play a lot more games to be well prepared for changing clubs, but if you're ready for it you have to do it. But I'm only focused on Ajax."
Tete evidenced his commitment to Ajax by revealing he is in discussions about renewing his deal with the Dutch side.
"We are having conversations about extending my contract at Ajax – that runs until the summer of 2018," he said.
"I'm a young player and Ajax and the Eredivisie give me a great stage to improve. That is what I want."

I liked what I saw from the vid...
But I would prefer to sign him now and loan him back to Ajax or to a Buli club (a club who will be in a uefa comp)

Today's Kicker is linking us with him again stating that were focusing on him... I think we might get him... Carvajal or Bellérin are sure more developed but probably unattainable... Tete is our best option IMHO... As is Hummels... Get a Winger and maybe Pjanic and we're good... As long as Alaba stays our primary LB...

As long as a capable replacement for Lahm comes soon I will be pleased, and this kid fits the bill.

But does he really?
Lahm always was a fantastic attacking full-back.
Tete seems more like the defensive type.

Bernat is an attacking fullback but has failed defensively on key occasions. I can understand why Bayern would go the alternate route this time around. Our fullbacks will more than likely always get the opportunity to be in attacking positions because of the system Bayern runs. A defensive oriented fullback will be less of a liability in the back while still capable of making a difference in attacking situations.

I really don't know what Bernat's uselessness has to do with the type of player we'd be looking for.
Also, a right-back that is great at defending but average at attacking should go to a team that is more defensive than us.
What's the benefit of a player like that in our system? You're saying he''ll have the opportunity to attack, but if his skill-set is not right that won't help us at all.

Of course it's nice to have a full-back that can defend. But he should also be good at going forward... At the end we're still Bayern Munich and not some mid-table club that is satisfied with average players... That's why I'm asking.

Well, I never saw Lahm as a particularly well offensive player... He's had 102 CL games with no goal... If you're talking about crosses and making runs: Tete can do that - and he does... ;)
