I think the boy is a really good prospect.... of course not Goetze-good, but still really good.... and I'm expecting him to develop drastically in the next couple of years... we have to consider that he is barely 19 (15 months younger than Alaba) and just finished his school in the summer!!

hah. I remember that play, no idea why he didn't pass to Huntelaar. It's pretty funny how his teammates put the whole game on that moment, so their performance would obviously not be scrutinized.

^ We sure got away with that one. Well, Draxler's still young and learning. Quite unfair to put the blame on him. I doubt that this is really true though, we all know how goal.com always try to stir things up.

Clearly I'm a bit oblivious and have missed something, because I genuinely like Draxler, and I think he is going to be a great player in a few years, He'd probably be the one to push Podolski off his pedestal in the NT if Reus didn't turn out to be so good there, and despite that he still might. Either way, a few English teams have been keeping their eyes on him, so if he does improve at the rate I think he will, then someone will buy him. Schalke just don't have the money or prestige to keep an ambitious young player when the big dogs come-a-knocking.

They should no better than to blame the game on a 19 year old. Way to keep his confidence up.

Even though I watched the entire game, I honestly don't recall that incident :? Anyone cares to refresh my memory a bit?

Boateng loses the ball to Draxler while attempting some kind of 360, Dante is left alone against Draxler and Huntelaar, Draxler decides to dribble past Dante instead of passing at the edge of the penalty area and loses the ball.

Yeah I remember that. Kept cursing Boateng afterwards for 2 minutes. I recall wondering why Dante looked pretty indecisive whether to commit a tackle or not, but that might actually be the main cause for Draxler to try and make it all by himself.

We were lucky not to concede in that action. He'd better not do that kind of mistake in the Pokal or CL.

I have only watched the highlights as I couldn't watch the match live and while seeing this action I was thinking how can they possibly not score from this action?

It was very poor play from Draxler. Should have squared it to Huntelaar.

I think everyone, including Draxler's teammates, will have to eat their words after the way Draxler assisted Holtby for Schalke's third goal today.
