Then why did you not post it in its correct place (generic transfer thread)? Please guys, this thread has gone off topic for a while. Stick to Draxler and no one else.

Sorry

this guy does not have the ability to play for the National team at this time. he better be called for the U21 or something. i was very surprised that he was called up for the Germany preliminary squad for Euro 2012. in my opinion, Kevin Großkreutz can play better than him though. so i don't think that he's suitable for Bayern. so sorry, but i don't see anything from this guy to help him to achieve this level.

I don't understand why all the negative comments.

How often have you seen an 18 year old do this?

Or a 17 year old do this? (last season)

He's one for the future without doubt... maybe it's time Uli has a meeting with him, huh?

I've wached him play since his awesome goal against Nurnberg in the DFB Pokal becuase I read extraordinary things about him. But he is just a good player. He is technically gifted and so on, but he is not a explosive player or the kind of guy that make sick stuff on the field.

I know he is still 18 but I don't see anything special in him YET. He is good but that's it and he is getting a lot of playing time.

Schürrle, Reus, Götze or Holtby are much much better players than him. They are on a different level.

One thing I don't like from him is that he looks too tall to play the winger position.

Well, I gotta admit, Draxler had a couple of pretty good runs today, but mostly Lahm had him under control.

I've seen him make a few special moments, but no the whole his full game hasn't impressed me. He's still young and will develop as long as schalke give him game time.

Lahm's experience over powered Draxler today. The kid still has a long way to go before he becomes one of the best....

At least he was more competent against Lahm than Ronaldo ever was. The kid has got a bright future ahead of him.

yeah, he did good today. Had a good run cutting inside past Lahm that he could have converted with a little more space. The kid has 18 and at his age he has shown a lot more than most of our players at the same age. I'm not saying he is a superstar or that he will ever be one but I can't understand the negativity about him.

Just because you have sehr sexuell surname it doesn't mean that you're a great player. So does it goes with Draxler. :D

He still has a time to develop himself into a great player. Currently, he is far from dangerous opponent for us. Maybe one day he arrives to Bayern and put on Bayern shirt. Maybe...
