Why??? Kimmich is the one who has no place in our midfield. I don't think he will leave, but if he left, it would be good for him. With us, he is not going to start in MF in the foreseeable future.

Just look at his past interviews. The guy wanted to join Bayern without expecting as much playing time as he got. He is over the moon about his season and keeps telling his friends that. This is just a typical post-summer tournament BS rumour.

He's the natural heir for the RB position. We have a whole new system coming into play so it's not fair to say that he won't start in the foreseeable future. He is a star and will continue to grow. Letting him go wouldn't not help him, in fact it would probably hurt him. Bayern love him so do the fans.

I hope he indeed is the heir to Lahm's spot, but it's not a given. But I was referring to MF. If he wants to be a Midfielder, he won't develop with us.

But my point was not really about Kimmich, but rather that he is one of the few players who might have reasons to want out.

Only if we have injuries or play with 3 at the back. Other than that I think he'd have an even smaller chance of playing for us than for Real.

That was said about Coman, Costa, and Kimmich... They ended up playing a whole lot.

I understand what you mean, but I honestly believe that he know how important he is to the future of Bayern. From what we have seen he seems pretty humble which will help us. He is a talent which we dye for. If he was on another team in the BuLi then we would all be asking for him. Getting to that level takes patients and it will be rewarded. He might not be a starter 100% of the time, but if he works hard and shows leadership and hardwork then he will be rewarded.

Marca: Time running out for Aleix Vidal [source]

Currently, there are five players piquing Barcelona's interest, namely Valencia's Joao Cancelo, Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich, Shakhtar Donetsk's Darijo Srna, Arsenal's Hector Bellerin and Juventus' Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Interest can be peaked, but they're delusional if they think we'd let a super talent (and first team starter) with a contract until 2021 go. :coffee:

Kimmich's name has been thrown around in the media recently due to the fact he's still considered a "bench" player for us by the footballing world. That will probably, and should, change soon to put an end to all these crappy rumors.
