I thought it was less..... even so.... that doesnt bother me at all.... its a gamble worth taking

what did we pay for Kimmich? like 6 or 7 million euros? what his value now?

what did we pay for Coman? I think 7 million euros for a 2 year loan? with the option to buy him at like 1/2 of what Juve could probably get for him on the open market now

I'd continue to gamble on young, unproven talent.... because at the end of the day, they're going to make more of a profit from those signings than losses.... even if you miss on 2 out of every 3 guys

Let's get this right: Kimmich and Coman aren't young unproven talents. They are young rising stars with real quality that with absolutely no question WILL succeed with the right amount of luck and good environment. When you talk about players like Kurt and now Eggestein who's strictly played amongst kids, we don't even know if their stuff is real. Kurt's is clearly not.

Btw anyone remember Barca's Adama Traore who was quite hot with us and someone called me out for claiming Brandt is better? Look at their careers now. That's the difference between unproven talent and rising star.

Kimmich and Coman are the first young players since a long time that look promising.

yeah thats fair enough.... although alot of those are sooo cheap its insignificant and worth the gamble

what was Kimmich's resume before he got to Bayern?

I dont think he ever even played in a top league.... he was very unproven and far from a lock to be a good player.... them signing him was 100% projection, not based on production and proving it vs top league talent

Kimmich is still not just a youth player - He played in Leipzig, which I consider top-flight enough. He played against real professionals in the 2. Bundesliga, and his performance in that league caught the eyes of our scout. He was scouted to be a senior squad member at Bayern and he wasn't even hyped that much by the media.

I'm not having any of these players who's only played in bullshit youth and junior leagues. Eggestein can score 25 goals in 19 games against physically undeveloped defenders, but how can we project him to be able to beat Stranzl, Höwedes and Toprak? Sané, Brandt and Werner have all done this and I'd rather we spend big money on them than wasting a slot in FCB II for someone who'll be shipped out the season after.

Let Eggestein play in the senior Bremen team (from what I've read he seems to be projected to do that) and see if he can get them goals. If he can I'll join the hype quite gladly.

For Bild, Bayern will sign him.

Watch his stats.

Hope he isn't a new Sinan Kurt.

Wasn't one of Kurt's main problems his attitude?

Signing a guy like this on a free is worth the risk imo :coffee:

Kurt just showed nothing... overrated as f***.

If I'm not wrong ... he has the same age than Coman right ? #-o

He wasn't referring to him probably... but to players with problematic attitude, Kurt and etc.

Can't see us getting Eggestien. Think he is too good to play for u23 and w can't offer game time in the first team. Mabye getting him and letting him be loaned out to a small club would work.
