No , i dont think so

Bayern want a Real FB

besides Jerome boateng himself left Hamburg and also is not satisified in MAN CITY because he spent most his time playing as RB and LB while he is a CB , and a top one imo
dejodejo wrote:BOATENG IS THE BEST CENTRAL DEFENDER OF Germany.in the year to come we will see him shine

I think that he is the most talented CB among the young German CBs (Hummels, Badstuber,Boateng and Howedes)

but unlike the other 3 , he does not play regularly and rarely plays CB with his team , this is why he is not rated as high as Hummels

Now after Merkur , Kicker says

Bayern and Jerome Boateng agreed on a contract ( it will be a 4-year contract)

the only the missing is the agreement Between MAN CITY and FC Bayern about the transfer fee

Manchester city bought him for 12 million euros from Hamburg but Nerlinger said that fee is too much and that he want to pay a noticeably less fee than that

That's what I said. The transfer fee should be less than what they payed for him last summer. It doesn't make any sense if we pay more than that.

This.
I see complaints when transfers are, in our opinion, overpriced. And now I see complaints when we're trying to negotiate a lower transfer value?

I agree, if we should buy him, it shall be in a fair and reasonable price. Considering he has not shown anything in MC, than paying less then what MC paid last year is pretty reasonable.
I believe that Boateng is good and one of German young talent, but he is just overrated at this moment. If we can manage to make him develop in the coming years, than it will be a good investment.

Agreed !!!

I think our board is being smart. They tell Man City hey he is not performing and not really used by u guys. Here is 6 Mil for someone that you guys are not even using and loosing money on.

It's just logical that our board doesn't go Man City or any other club and say oh ok here is 20 mil for him cuz we want him now, or go to Schalke and say here is 45 mil we really want Neuer.....

But well said MUTU !!!!

yeah hes right on this one. Why should we pay more than they paid last year when he showed nothing this season? They bought him in his last contract year ok but he cannot cost us more than they paid if he showed LITERALLY nothing in one season. thats ridiculous. Nerlinger is right here.

Doesnt take away the fact that he's a little pushover without strong character. And I too dont think hes right for the job and should be fired, but not for this reason.

I'd rather pay 10mil because he is coming off a serious knee injury but I'd be willing to go up to 13mil.
