The only weakness you can see in Badstuber, IMO, is his relatively low speed... So he could be a risk if we use an advanced defense line, because he won't be able to cope with the opponent's strikers' speed in through passes... But if that's not our game-plan, he is quite a useful defender with many great attributes....

In any case, I would like us to pair him with a really fast defender... Someone who can compensate this weak spot... And That's why I was always against DvB-Badstuber duo... even though many would have preferred this to Micho-Badstuber at the beginning of the season... IMO if we started the season with Micho-Badstuber, we could have had a quite different season... But that's just a guess right now, isn't it?

So we want to buy Boateng as central defender? I don't know how much is he great. I saw him only on a left and right defender/fullback.

But I think he is enough good for us.

He is around the same level as the rest of our defenders. He would need to fight for a place in the first team and his spot would definitely not be guaranteed. The kind of defenders I was hoping we'd be linked to would be the defenders in the starting XI (which Boateng isn't) of the top Champions League favourites (which Manchester City isn't).

agreed and people saying if he's good enough for Germany National Team then he's good enough for us, Mertesacker starts for the national team and he's garbage, were trying to win the champions league and were buying average players man, players like Boateng and Andreas Beck ain't gonna win you nothing(maybe the Europa league).

Wait a second. Did Boateng's agent just renewed his newspaper subscription or did he just purchase his first laptop? WTH?

News linking FCB and Boateng came at least three weeks ago. And he just decided to say it is all BS? Was he on vacation or something??

Rumors say that Jerome Boateng is close to joining fc Bayern even though his Agent denied that

It says that Bayern wanted to buy boateng from Hamburg (paying the 12.5 million euros release clause)

but the Player and Board did not come to an agreement , so he went to man city

Now Bayern want to get him

and Jerome Boateng actually wants to go back to Bundesliga and that he agreed on Playing for FC Bayern

the only thing missing is the agreement between FC Bayern Muenchen and Manchester City

Man CIty might agree Because next season they will be forced to reduce their HUGE squad to 25 players , so letting Boateng go is possible

Guys,Look..

Boateng doesnt have a Starting Place on Man city.. so how come he's that good??

If he was that good Man City would have kept him.

Please Board sign some worldclass defenders .. enough with Pranjic,Braafheid, and saying that we are interested in Dante #-o ,Boateng  ..

If were going to sign any defenders , it should be Hummels or Alex..

Robben and Sneijder didn't have a starting place in Real Madrid :) and Boateng is a regular player in Germany's lineups

ManCity is the most stupid team. They spended like 500M in 3 years and they are not mcuh better than before
