Who made what? I don't understand.
Also, for all the fame their academy gets, which world class players did Schalke produce? Off the top of my head can only think of Neuer and Lehmann.

Made it big...

Özil, Höwedes, Draxler... Arguably not wc per se, but how many did we produce? Or others? And the next question is, is it ONLY academies that produce 'em, or also clubs as well? They have by far the best academy in Germany IMHO...

+Ozil, Sane looks solid
Their doing great job so many players, you can't expect more than 3-4 world class players in a decade.

You think he‘d have played for us at 19? 20? Things change when people mature...
Also, maybe he does just want to take one step at a time and wants to come to Bayern, but only after taking a step in between?

I hope you’re right but now I’m not too optimistic about this guy.

I don't consider those world class. We produced a lot. Apart from the legends of the 70s we can mention from more recent times Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Mueller, Alaba and Kroos. Not to mention Badstuber who's career could've been very different if not for his injuries.

We bought Kroos at 17 from Rostock, Badstuber from Stuttgart and we bought Alaba as well, if I‘m not mistaken...

I personally count the developing team as the one that gave a player his professional debut.

That’s HSV anyway for Arp so judging by your standards he‘s screwed already either way

Arp asked his coach for advice of what he would do if he was in his place. [source]

Yeah weird, the current - and most likely future - coach of HSV tells their most promising player to stay

According to SPORT BILD, everything indicates that Bayern will secure the services of Jann-Fiete Arp (18) - as long as Hamburg get relegated. Arp is said to have made his decision to join Bayern 3 weeks ago.

He's future is everything but bright at Bayern. If I were him, I'd consider to move to some other club like Schalke, Gladbach or Stuttgart who are good in developing young players.

Bayern's U-23 and U-19 talents are looking for a move to become professional players since Bayern don't offer them prosperity and the vision how to integrate them into the first team.

The plan is to loan him right back, so why not? He'll definitely make more money...

So now that we won't get him as well, it’s time to get up our asses!
On top of that Wintzheimer will probably leave, too...
