Didn't realize this kid has a record of 15 goals in 17 games for the Under 17 mannschaft.

IIRC I wanna say he's also the only player to have two hat-tricks at U17 Euros.... but may be wrong on that.

What I remembered is he scored 3 in 12 minutes against Bosnia, and then in the U17 world cup he was the one carried Germany into QF.

He is still 18, right? I think it is he is too young. However, he could get relegated with Hamburg. So I think Bayern should buy him and send him on loan to a BL club or some place abroad*

* He is German so he won’t have a problem getting used to the league, culture or language when he comes back from, lets say Italy. Bayern need to have an understanding with some Serie A or La Liga club where we can send our youngsters on loan and see how they progress and lets keep them away from the PL (after the Sanches episode and with all the money involved there)

Bayern are being heavily linked with this guy. Latest is that we are front runners to sign him this summer and then loan him out.

As I said in my previous post if we do buy Arp then sending him on loan outside Germany won't be too bad. (Provided we don’t send him to the PL)

Dream scenario: Arp goes on loan to Italy and Wintzheimer goes on loan to some BL club and hopefully in a couple of seasons those two will come back improved players. Lewandowski and Wagner will be 32 in a couple of years time.

I think the obvious club would be HSV if he is willing to play in league 2. If Kiel get promoted they might be a good option too (only 100km from Hamburg).

No way HSV fans will accept him if he signs for us and keeps playing for them...

Makes zero sense to loan a player we want to develop to the second division. They’ve got to get consistent games at the highest level to get better.

@12 - Bayern signed 18 year old Renato from Portugal. Your point? If anything living by yourself at a Young age either makes or breaks a man. If he stays professional about things he would only get better.

If the player is available then it's a no-brainer considering his age, talent and fee.
Where he'll play doesn't make any big difference(preferably to Bundesliga ofc) but at this stage of his career he just needs to play as much as possible as a starter to build confidence and learn a couple of things, I do really hope that we will sign him, great physique and big potential.

According to an exclusive by Fussballtransfers, Bayern Munich are understood to be poised to secure the signature of the teenage attacker. [source]

Bild have claimed that there is a 20% chance Arp remains at the club next season if they are relegated and he could be bought for as little as €7.5m. [source]

I think it makes more sense to leave a young player in a pla
ce he is familiar with than to uproot him and then send him to a new club other than his new home club (in this case Bayern)
