Even in that case, I don't think it makes sense at all no matter how good our relationship with Real Madrid is

Vertrag bis 30.06.2019.

He'll be free player in 2019, I don't get it... What am I missing here?

This must mean it's an obligation to buy in my opinion. Otherwise we'd sign him for free when his loan expires.

Again, his contract runs till 2020 at Real Madrid. It even says so on that link :|

I agree, but I'm not sure that he'll be that much of a hit. He's on big wages, the transfer fee is not all... he'll need to convince Bayern.

This is the best deal in the history of Bayern transfers if those amounts are true.

By Bundesliga rules, but what about La Liga rules? To me it must mean obligation to buy.

For the third time, he has a contract till 2020, it even says so on the transfermarkt.de profile he posted here.

We sold Douglas Costa and we got James instead, we managed to put an obligation clause to Costa while at the same time an optional on James. Yeah I think that our board really sucks

Our board overnight went from being w*****s to worldclass with this signing!

What are his wages at Bayern going to be? I would assume not higher than Lewandowski or else the deal wouldn't have happened, no?

James had the best season of his career at Madrid under Ancelotti in 2014/15. 13 goals and 13 assists in 29 Liga matches, 17 goals and 18 assists overall. Pretty solid. Similar to what Arjen Robben did last season, who was our only attacker other than Lewandowski to provide consistent production.

Bayern needed a creative, attacking player who could also score goals, dribble, and provide assists, at or near world class level, for reasonable money, and they achieved such.

Guys I m sure Boateng is a thing of the past . When Sule will start to pair with Hummels will be impossible to remove from the team. And to be honest he doesnt deserve to take Javi place ,as he was way better
