The point is that Thiago has EU citizenship and the others don't.

His father is Brazilian but he was born in Italy and plays for Spain so he doesn't count as South American.

thiago lived in brazil his early years and was going to play for brazil had they done a better job recruiting him. However, but due to brazil confederation corruption, thiago was overlooked, so he played for Spain instead.

Watching thiago play, you can tell he plays like a brazilian, not a spainard.

rafinha plays for brazil, because he was willing to wait for brazil, unlike thiago, who felt angry that brazil passed him when he was young....

Brazil is the only country where you can make a starting 11 better than most national teams for guys that left brazil nt to play elsewhere because of roster limitations/opportunity.

Algeria xD

Thiago was already playing for Barcelona well before reaching the point where he had to chose his football nationality which meant his call up to the Spain under X national team was a given. He has been one of Spain's under 21 most celebrated players, earning the MOTM awards in the finals both in 2011 and 2013. His influence in the U21 NT earned him the rank of Captain in 2013, an honor he inherited after a certain Javi Martinez grew too old to play with the underagers.

With that being said, he's not the same case as Costa. He is one of Spain's NT career players with a quite long track record of championships and trophies on his cabinet. He's not flying to Brazil anytime soon no matter what they did to recruit him.

Good player... One more winger could suit us well... (an RB and a CB too :P)

Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian... :P :D

If we want a fast runner, we should go for Husein Bolt instead ...

Lazio played their most important fixture in recent memory against Leverkusen, and this guy was transparent.

Bolt doesn't have super acceleration which is more important in football than top speed. In fact, over 30m, Aubameyang is significantly faster than Bolt.

So was Costa in their important fixture against Bayern - except for unneccessary roughness... ;)
So was Coman for a whole year at Juventus...
I think the talent is there... Not for 50m or something, but he could help us...

Costa played Champions league football regularly and impressed in more than one match unlike Felipe who only faces italian sides.
As for Coman, he's only 19 and never had the chance to play regularly with Juve because of huge competition unlike Felipe Anderson.
I don't pretend to be a soothsayer, but I'm not convinced he'll make it.

All I have to say is that I bought Felipe Anderson in Football Manager 2015 for my club Dynamo Dresden and he's so bad he quickly got relegated to my reserve squad. ;)
