I'm very high on this player. I think he could've been the heir to Arjen Robben. Has a very similar playing style to Robben's. I'm very impressed with his left foot and his dribbling. I guess we couldn't compete with Juve since he's a Juve fan.

couldn't compete with Juve? good joke :D . l remember l heard the same thing some months ago about Verratti, how he was a Juve fan and how desperate he was for a move to Juve.

Almost 24 years old and still unproven at highest level. also considering italians mostly fails when they move to abroad, this is why, unless they prove themselves at highest level, it's risky to sign italian players. l think due to the fact that this reason, bayern didn't move for him in my opinion.

I agree he's unproven at the highest level. But last season he played very well in Serie A and has played himself onto the Italian NT. I'm not saying that Bayern can't compete with Juve financially or reputation wise. If a player has always wanted to play for a certain club like Bernardeschi it's very hard to compete with that.

He is good... he will be the next Arjen Robben and signed by Real or Barca in two / three years

I doubt he'll be a good player but not Bayern/Real/Barca material

I agree ramsej84. He could very well be the next Arjen Robben. Already a NT player and playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It will be interesting to see how he plays this season. I think Juve did well with this transfer. 40 million is a bit much but his potential is great and only 4 million a year in wages is a good deal for Juve.

4m net income means 8m gross in Italy
I woudn't call that a "cheap deal" for a guy who was on 1m net income at Fiorentina....
I thought they would go gradually first giving him 2,5m/year and then increasing.
The top earners at Juventus get 15m+bonus gross income

Well if it's 4 million net then it's a bit different. Didn't realize that.
