Who will pay Costa's wages?

If Bayern will continue to pay him (supposedly) 6mill a year in wages and get's 6million over two years from the loan deal,
then we're basically selling him for 34mill minus inflation! :x This would be a sh*tty deal!

If we're getting 6mill A YEAR so as to cover all his wages (in theory), then I can live with it. :-k
If Juve pays his wages both years, then it's a great deal.

Anybody knows something about this?

Juve will pay. Don't worry.

No, Benatia was an OPTION, not an obligation for Juve

Shaqiri was an obligation.

To those who are confused by the obligation to buy: basically it is a transfer where the purchasing club (Juve) will pay 6m this summer and 40m next summer and Juve are unable to resell or loan the player out until next summer.

I find this deal good. What I also expect is that Juventus will agree Costa's yearly income and week salary so that we don't need to think what do we have to finance, pay or whatsoever.

Thanks!

Well then the deal will be 6 plus (40 minus inflation (e.g. 1.5% a year?)), so something like at least 45mill in total, no? THAT, my friends, is a good deal!
Juve are getting a good player, but for Bayern to unload him with a 50% profit, is good business.

No Shaqiri was not a transfer deal. We loaned him out to inter with an obligation to buy.

Bild | Douglas Costa to Juventus deal:

- One year loan deal for €6m.
- Option to buy in 2018 for €40m

So, James is cheaper than Costa.

Thanked by accident.

I hope it's an obligation to buy. I don't ever want him coming back.
