I don't like Diego's attitude, if we ever got him and we didn't play him all the time he would pull the same sh*t at Bayern. I also hate Magath, that freakin' dinosaur and his authoritarian attitude ruins players -- even if he had success at Wolfsburg, it became apparent how he could ruin at Schalke and now again at Wolfsburg. I think players save his butt most of the time and fear keeps players trying to play at a high level -- but eventually it cracks.

So if nobody buys him, and he ends up playing with Wolfsburg II, he will definitely be the most expensive player in the history of the 4th division :)

I dont know

I read when they signed him that his salary is 6 millions not 9 (just flip the number :) )

however Magath has not decided anything yet

true that

the most expensive 4th league player is Albert Streit of Schalke who makes 2.2 million euros a year

Just throwing this out there... could it be 9 million before tax and 6 million after tax?

That's still alot of money for little that he does. I would only take him as a bench player, with a pay cut from where he has been, then he can rebuild his reputation if he can at all.

I doubt he will accept both a pay cut and/or a bench/rotation role. I mean the guy is seriously talented and in top form he can be the best CAM in the world however, his personality gets him into trouble. I mean we already have one serious diva (we all know who that is lol) on the team do you guys seriously think the team can afford to risk the teams chemistry by having another one and having the two diva's clashing???

Wolfsburg should ask for compensation. It's a disgrace that he just walked away during a team meeting

In an interview with Sport-Bild, Diego revealed why two seasons ago he opted for Juventus over Bayern when van Gaal wanted to bring him in.

"Bayern Munich at that time made me a better deal financially than Juventus. I had nothing against Bayern, it is a great club. But my heart told me what I had to do. I wanted to go to Italy for a great club," said the Brazilian.
