I don't think that would be the case if he is just a "1st choice sub"
For me Alaba is our future Ribery at much younger age if he is given the opportunity for "Full and real" development ... in fact I believe he is more complete (defensive and creativity wise ) than Ribery or Robben .

Very polyvalent player, just how I like 'em. Heynckes made his intentions clear to keep him at the club, and I don't think he would have done that if he didn't have a concrete idea of where he wants to go with him and how he wants to use him. I just hope we're not committing a mistake here, another year or two at Hoffenheim or another club of a similar stature would have been of great benefit for him. Sometimes reminds me of Seedorf in his earlier days.

They'll never get him. Buts its funny how we are the strong team now and top teams wants our players. Alaba should stay at bayern indefinitely -- definitely a player to help bayern for years to come.

I hope he is committed to us and doesnt get lured by the imaginary fame of these "top clubs".
Even if he does, our board will convince him to stay.
When they can convince Ribery and Schweini, this would be a piece of cake for them.
Besides, he has a contract till 2015. He isn't going anywhere for a long time.

Right now we are the Top Club.

With guardiola leaving and the spaniard crisis i dont think Barcelona is much more atractive than us. I dont believe he has a reason to leave , but for sure he wants a better deal with us in the future.

He's one of our most loyal players. Last year he said that his dream is to be a regular for FC Bayern, not Barcelona, not Real Madrid. Alaba will be competing with Kroos and maybe Badstuber for the future captain role once Schweini and Lahm's time is up.

All I can say is:

FCBayernMunchen wrote:My choice too. As you probably know I have big faith in Alaba. I wanted him loaned out again because I fear he might get wasted on the bench, but if he takes his chance he could win a regular starting place.

How glad I am that we didn't loan him :D
