Me too.. although tbh, if we keep Gustavo at CB and don't sign Vidal, I wouldn't mind bringing him back to partner Schweini. But in that case I'd rather use Tymo for one last year and leave Alaba on loan

Alaba would be Ottl's replacement really, and we saw that Ottl did indeed play last season, even after we bought Luiz Gustavo. By the same logic, I would expect Alaba to play, just not so often though. Of course, if we sign Arturo Vidal then he'd have little chance of playing and would NEED to be loaned out, even though I believe he can play as LM (Ribery replacement).

I think we should extend his loan at Hoffenheim for a year or two. If he comes now he wont play.

Now the only other thing we should do about it is to loan him out to a good BL club... he needs to be regularly playing in order to develop really well....
