Srna is an experienced player in Europe. It doesn't matter that he's 30, we have enough youngsters. Bringing someone like him won't hurt.
Rafinha is being rotated anyway. I would much rather have him rotate with Srna (who I think is better) than with Boateng. Now if Rafinha remains the main RB until the end of the season, it would help us judge much better. But let's not forget that RB is still a position in which we have not had a backup for a while.

Srna would have been great. It has been an obvious for Bayern for many years that we should get Srna -- yet Bayern continually look elsewhere. It seems we will buy him when he is 33+

As far as I know it was Srna who didn't want to leave. Our board was actually crazy about him at one point.
