Transfer will be finalized after WC qualifiers.
Lyon insider from the transfermarkt.de forums.

When do you mean by this? Unless I'm reading things wrong, France's last WC qualifier for group is all the way in October... Next one is in August 31, the same day the transfer window closes...Unless he means after their most recent qualifier, which was today...

It obviously means after this international break

From what we know Vidal is 29 so he will probs be around for 1-2 years, Martinez for the time being is still a CB, Kimmich seems to be the future RB, and Gaudino I read from recent reports isn't expected to stay at the club....

I really don't know why you would include Kimmich and Alaba into the equation when they're clearly set in a different position.
Wasn't it you who kept talking about not weakening 2 positions at the same time when discussing the possibility of Alexis + a CF back-up?
And Gaudino, really?

Gaudino even can't be a rotation player at St. Gallen. Please be more serious, guys. Alaba LB, Kimmich RB. Martinez should be CB, considering, he didn't play at midfield for a long time, also considering, it's ideal to have 4CB's.

We have Thiago, Müller, Sanches, Rudy, Vidal for 3 positions. This is why, we need more quality, more depth in midfield, an aggressive, a 2 way midfielder, who can score goals, with good vision will come in handy so much. Real had İsco, James, Kovavic as back ups for midfield, but they did good job on rotating them. so l don't see any reason for us to do this kind of rotation with Rudy, Sanches and Müller.

if Goretzka joins us next year, it will be probably to replace Vidal.

Corentin Tolisso

So we're back to buying players for coaches that will be gone in 12 months anyway?

(Not trying to smack talk the player here...)

Robben and Thiago turned out pretty ok though?

Don't think Robben was that kind of transfer, rather Pranjic and Braafheid

Always thought that infamous Lahm interview was golden...

Nobody would say anything if we sign Verratti and say "Ancelotti was the man behind this transfer".
