Tuchel's experiment lasted half a season. After that, he started overdoing the tactical/formation manipulations until his players got totally lost. Plus, Ribery will definitely punch him if he decided to play him in a central role!

yeah... he has done a relatively good job at Mainz... but not that good... He never managed to get great results after that half-season... the thing I like about him is the character of his team against bigger opponents, and his (team's) energetic style of playing.... What I really don't like about him is that I have not seen him using (and bringing on) many German talents in the past couple of seasons... So the overall performance of his team has not improved since 2 years ago...

All in all, I don't think he is a serious candidate for the Bayern job.

I think that we should let the assistant coach run things around and see how they go. To me, its no more of a risk than getting a new coach.
Emre CAN do it.

JH's assistants are no more young than he is!! They aren't made for being a head coach otherwise they would have been by now...

Tuchel will not be our next coatch not only because lack of success but also because he coached just "little ones" and that´s a to hugh difference (mostly how to handle the pressure). In my opinion Slomka should be the men: He´s smart in creating gameplanes, he´s a Gentlemen and knows how to tread the media (what is really important in Munich) and he allready coached a bigger team some years ago (Schalke). He also had a lot of success un Hannover the last years.

Inter have been rumoured to be after Guardiola even when he was still at Barca. I still wouldn't exclude the possibility of him joining us though.

LOL.com saying he'll go to Milano pretty much excludes the city entirely from being Pep's place of work next year. After that article I'm more optimistic than before.

Guardiola could prefer more Inter than Bayern because he was as a player in Brescia and Roma and he can also speak Italian.

Yet as a coach he has struggled against Italian teams. Makes you wonder whether coaching in the Serie A is a wise move for him.

As I see it Guardiola will come to Bayern if we want him. We're the most attractive club to coach aside from perhaps Manchester United and when you read between the lines then Mourinho will probably succeed SAF at Old Trafford.
