Sammer wants to be a sport director, great. But also to interfere in coach business, that's not smart from him. I wouldn't complain with the time to discuss with Heynckes, but every single day to do that, it doesn't have any sense - unacceptable. [-X

New coach if it's gonna be tough personality, problems won't be avoided and team would only lose with all of that.

Why is that "not smart from him"? It was the whole reason Uli brought him in in the first place.

Sammer should have the biggest say on our next coach. Like others have said, if they don't agree it will be a disaster but if they have a healthy relationship (like he seems to have with Heynckes) no one should complain because it will make us a lot better.

Guardiola was the same with Vilanova, his assistant. He used to be seen consulting him much more during games than normal coaches do.

But it IS assistant vs sporting director. A huge gap in the "close to the headcoach-o-meter!

True. What I mean is that if there is a healthy relationship between the two people it can bring success, and Heynckes and Sammer seem happy with each other. Remember that Heynckes can also influence Sammer's decisions and that way it is easier to get exactly what Heynckes wants out of the team.

You can't at the same time doing management job and pretend to be smarter than Heynckes. If we want a manager, then we should decide to give Sammer that role after this season.

Uli wasn't the coach when he was sitting on bench near Hitzfeld, Magath, Lattek, Trapattoni, etc. Consultations, converstations and intentioned advices are always good to see from both sides, but everything above that is unacceptable. That's distortion of coach authority. Even Lattek and the rest of reputable people who talked about this in media have told how it's not ok and the borders must be underlined to avoid possible conflicts, bad atmosphere...

I beg to very much differ. Sammer brings continuity and vision, which we have very much been lacking these past few years. Think of him as a permanent secretary to Jupp's minister to bring an allegory from the UK political system. With Jupp gone in a year, giving him absolute power is idiotic.

I still think Loew has the best chance at being our next coach. I'll change my mind as soon as I see Pep in German school or Sammer in the Real Academy of Spanish or sum'thing.

Why is that a nightmare?

Lowe is a good coach and could do very well in club football. Pep would be the best option in the market at the moment, but Lowe is not a bad coach.

Löw: 2008 final. 2010 Semis. 2012 Semis against a team who lost 4-0 vs Spain. The man just keeps on becoming worse and worse!

When you quote Maradona, Messi or Capello, you should say so. :P Seriously though, you can't be a Mueller fan and hate Loew; 'nough said.

Oh, I can and I will, especially after his exclusion of Müller led to that loss against italy.

Müller is our lucky charm. Bad things happen without him. As seen in "disaster dahoam", the 2-0 loss to shitaly, and the goal we conceded vs BVB as soon as he was taken off.
