How about Bernd Schuster?
He plays an attack minded football which we will play brilliantly.
He couldn't do well for Besiktas as their defense was too weak and he played an attacking style football. But with our defensive reinforcements, we can try for him.
What do you guys feel?

I kinda remember him flopping somewhere else as well... :|

Oh, right, he had that period at Madrid.

For Real Madrid, he did pretty well considering the fact that they were trophyless for a lot of years

He still feels like a German van Gaal to me what with the aggressive style of play, odd managerial record and penchant for outbursts during press conferences.

That I agree.
But he has a good coaching talent nonetheless.
But at the moment, what other options do we have if Pep is ruled out?
I am sure we won't do good with counter attacking style of play which all the coaches like Tuchel, Favre, etc play.
BTW, we should look at how Fink performs for HSV.
Many claimed him to be our long term replacement.

Scholl is sad that you forgot about him already.

Fink might indeed be a decent option. The debate is whether it is him or Arnesen that is to blame for HSV being so awful in every way imaginable right now.

Definitely Arnesen. Even before Fink took over, the damage was brutally done

^ Is never to be trusted on tactics, anyway.
Why not 4-3-3, eh? Why not 4-3-3? It sounds perfect especially if we get Javi.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Favre, really? Other than sit back and enjoy the counters where does he fit in? Is like Dortmund on a European tour nightmare TBH.

Which brings me back to Klopp. Good luck with with coaching a team of 25+ year olds who need an angry Uli +deputized Sammer to Jedi-mind them back to their pressing game for crying out loud. Then again, he might just be the ultimate of motivators: "Listen to me you mofos, you midfield them back to submission or I am taking my cap off yu' hear?"

Scholl is stiil too inexperienced for such a big Job.... he should still prove himself as a manager...

I'd love to see Pep here if he manages to learn German....
Tuchel is a huge risk that I'm not willing to take... Klopp is occupied somewhere else... Favre needs to prove himself internationally... Slomka is an option because of his European experience an his character.... Still we should let watch how he'll do with Hannover in Europa League this season...

Bernd Schuster is another option... but I can't believe he can collaborate with other egos in the club...

We don't have many options when we consider the facts... I'll give Pep a chance among these options...

That is the worst punishment you could ever give someone. EVER. It's pure torture. I'm not ready to make OUR players suffer this!
