AVB wouldn't be giving the time here... We're quite an impatient club, and if he didn't win at least 1 trophy in his first season (BL oder CL) then he'd be gone.

He's got a lot to learn as a manager. And at the moment Bayern would not be the club for him.

AVB

Postby Rogach » Sun Mar 04, 2012 5:25 pm

As you might have heard, AVB got sacked at Chelsea. So i was wondering how would he do at Bayern. I think it would be a superb move by Bayern if they appoint him as coach cus he is free and can become a long term solution. I'm not saying Jupp is bad, but he is old and we can give him a job behind the scenes. Share your oppinion :)

I would bring him in the summer. We are surely going to spend money this summer and he'll be able to build the team he wants. I think he would be very successful here.

I wouldn't want him now for fear of the board letting him go at the end of the season...

He doesn't speak German = the sole reason of why he won't be our next coach.
He can't handle big egos, see Chelsea FC for more information.
No authority, none whatsoever.

Good tactician though. But still, no.

And furthermore, this discussion belongs in the Official coach transfer thread.

AVB needs to go to a team where there isn't a lot of pressure on him to succeed, in other words not Bayern!

I think he's a great manager but he isn't for us.

Extremely interesting. He once said (a long time ago) that he would really like to coach Bayern some day.

But I didn't understand... Was he in Munich yesterday or 8 days ago?
