glad to see his priorities straight after the normal games ended. Take care of getting those transfers going.

Yeah, I knew that. He took his first coaching job when he was about 24 years old. :)

BTW, I think he said he's staying with Porto for next season

Beckenbauer is THE MAN

Bayern Munich's honorary president Franz Beckenbauer has praised club supremo Uli Hoeness for his decision to sack coach Louis van Gaal, claiming the Dutchman's removal was a decisive factor in reaching the Champions League and not sliding further down the Bundesliga standings.

Van Gaal was dismissed in April after a poor run of results to be replaced by Andries Jonker until the end of the season, and Beckenbauer reckons the change was a necessary one.

"If Uli had not have done that [sacked the coach], Van Gaal would still be the coach and we would have been in eighth place," he told Sky Deutschland.

Despite Germany's record champions salvaging their season by clinching third place ahead of Hannover, Beckenbauer believes that the internal dynamics at the club need to change, and called on sporting director Christian Nerlinger to step out of the shadows of Hoeness at the Allianz Arena.

"Christian Nerlinger has done a good job. Unfortunately, though, he has not really emerged from the background. That will change. That has to change for him to be accepted.

"[Nerlinger has] too much respect for the achievements of his predecessor. If Uli is in his office, then everyone goes to the office of Uli and they walk past Nerlinger's office."

Beckenbauer also took time to highlight the sterling work being done by former Bayern defender Markus Babbel, who gained promotion from the 2.Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin.

"Babbel has performed outstandingly. We still hear a lot from him. He has the Bayern DNA. He is a coach in the mould of [Jurgen] Klopp. Even as a player he was very intelligent and hungry."

Well he definitely won't last in Real for long... either he'll win something and goes out on a high, or he fails to win anything and is kicked out.

Whatever happens, the further away he stays from Bayern, the better.

What worries me the most is Uli saying a year ago the due goes from team to team taking everything away from them and then KHR says a few weeks back Real is in top form thanks to the work of the Portuguese. We don't trash talk/sugar coat anyone's career just for nothing...

kaiser hates him, he once said 'jose is an uneducated and arrogant prick',

another interesting news...

Franz Beckenbauer (66) but already thinking about the time after Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes (66). And the Emperor has a name above all on the bill: Juergen Klopp (44).
The Master of the BVB coach would fit the Bavaria, says the Emperor. Beckenbauer to "Sport Bild": "Jürgen Klopp is doing a great job in Dortmund. Eventually he wants to try something new, is quite logical. I would imagine that Klopp will be a topic for Bavaria, even if I decide to not do that. "
Klopp at Bayern? If anything, it's still the future.
Heynckes has still contract with Bayern until 2013 and Bayern president Uli Hoeness (59) will not tire of explaining how happy he is with the Bavarians.
Jürgen Klopp has committed himself until 2014 at the BVB. Club and fans love him, Klopp is the unofficial king of Dortmund.
Wants possible that Kloppo someday start a new way. Until then, the emperor must bide their time.
