Alright.

Jeez. It's not EXACTLY the same, but it's close enough to be considered a pun. What is it with Germans and humour? :\

The humour part ended once you tried to tell me Löw and love (in any accent...) sound similar
I'm sorry. But if it's just a joke you shouldn't even try to argue about it.
Claiming something and then going on about the good old "germans and their humour" isn't really the nicest thing.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, Bayern Munich

Despite taking the brunt of more Argentinian hacks on Sunday than the editorial staff of La Nación, Schweinsteiger is perhaps the most traditionally German player in the World Cup winners’ squad. And although his exterior is harder than a frozen wurst, Schweinsteiger was pictured offering his commiserations – à la Andrew Flintoff at Edgbaston – to his vanquished opponents. What a guy. And like Löw’s (pronounced “love”), his name is a treat to British tabloid headline writers. It not only translates, roughly, as “pigclimber” – but allows for linguistic tour de forces like, “you schwein” and “you dirty schwein”. Those two gems earned The Mirror and The Sun bans from Bayern Munich press conferences in April. [source]

I really have no idea what they're smoking, but I'm sure Will Dean and some guy on lyrictranslate know better than me as a native german speaker. No wonder though when I listen to english commentary pronouncing german names. They're either super insensitive to auditory differences or they really simply have no clue.

You're trying to tell me this

In an attempt to get back to topic:

The latest news is that Kicker (print) says Tuchel is still in the pole position for the job in summer. They say Heynckes has recommended Tuchel internally to the club. Klopp isn't in the discussion. Alexander Rosen has confirmed there has been no contact with Bayern for what must be the 32nd time.

Meanwhile Nagelsmann has complained about being portrayed "as a vagabond" who changes clubs like his underwear. He says there has never been any contact with respect to him taking over the Bayern job between him and Bayern.

Check out the accepted answer.

I've heard loads of Brits pronounce "love" the way Loew is pronounced (as per your first video) even though the formal way is the one you posted in the 2nd video. It depends on the regional accent/dialect.
In fact, it was first pronounced as luuv. (read end of page 575 and start of page 576). [source]

PS: the 'some guy on lyrictranslate' is Kollege Reiff, a German.

Should we make an "Other Clubs' coach transfer thread" on par with the international transfers one?

This belongs to the Italian football thread IMO.

To put all the football related 'pronunciation' issues to bed, just watch this:

What do you think about Diego Simeone? With him, we will definately get rid of possesion fotball and play quick, counter-reactive football, based on steel defence. For me he is the image of efficiency in world footbal.

And ass ugly...

Why get rid of possession based gameplans? All the successful teams play it...

No.

Have you watched any game of Atletico and considered it an "entertaining" game?

Also, I severy dislike his personality on the side of the pitch. Negative all over.
