We've just fired who I consider by far the worst coach in Bayern's history and we're replacing him with who I consider the best coach in Bayern's history. I know it's been 4 years, but as long as he still remembers how to conduct a training session it's already an improvement over Ancelotti.
Not my point at all and if you read the whole thing you'd see why.

And CA is a piece of shit, but he didn't dethrone Klinsmann as the worst coach Bayern ever had. He's the runner up though.

Of course he totally dethrones Klinsmann. You can say good things about Klinsmann, eg how he helped modernize the club as a whole. Klinsmann helped design a new player development and performance center for Bayern. Without his work, perhaps Van Gaal would not have managed to take Bayern to the Champions League final a season later. What positives can you take from Ancelotti? As far as I know, Bayern benefited in no aspect thanks to him.

Jupp Hynckes speaks fluent Spanish
https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/9 ... 4161598464
If he comes JM will be deployed as cdm along with Vidal... or Thiago
Muller behind Lewa...

Have you forgotten how we've played the majority of the time Jupp was coach here?
Actually every other player is behind Lewa, so technically you're right.

The only thing I don't like about Heynckes is that he's used to playing football on the wings, and we currently don't have strong wings. We'd be better off with a 3-4-2-1 in my opinion.

What about when he's running back? Then most/all players would be in front of Lewa :P

Maybe you can't remember, but Jupp said Thiago and Kroos were the 2 biggest midfield talents in Europa back then.
Also he initially wanted Vidal, so Martínez basically was our fall-back option altough he didn't do too bad for that.

So I'd be very surprised if Jupp decided to play 2 similar types of players in a double pivot in Vidal & Javi and not Thiago... So it's either all three or Thiago + Vidal/Martínez in my opinion.

--------- James
-------- (Thiago)
--- Thiago -- Martínez
- (Tolisso) -- (Vidal)

James is not all that different to Kroos when he played the #10 if you really think about it.

Müller ---- Lewandowski ---- Robben
(Coman) -- Lewandowski -- (Müller)

Could be the attack.

But we were not cross-dependent. Speed was important. Coman fits in nicely. James on the other side, maybe. Or Robben.

As long as we have some form of attacking plan other than crossing the ball, we should be good with wing play as long as we don't have injuries. It'll be interesting to see if Heynckes manages that without Kroos. If I remember correctly he had wanted Thiago.

So this is the first official confirmation of interest in Heynckes.

I think Bayern got rid of Ancelotti just because I was leading in the predictions game. They needed to change things up so that I won't win.

Thiago will be his Schweinsteiger and James his Kroos.
