I don't want an old coach, we are a fairly young team and I want a young coach who will bring energy to this team.

I hope we don't get Heynckes.

He wouldn't have been my favorite either, but that's the direction it seems to be going. If things weren't so serious with Bayern, he would have extended at Leverkusen by now. They'll probably get Robin Dutt to succeed Heynckes.

Jogi Loew says that "the probability is very high" that he will extend his contract with the German national team to 2014.

He was previously linked to a move to FC Bayern after Euro 2012.

UPDATE: Joachim Loew has extended his contract by 2 years and it will end in 2014. Not quoting a source since the news is everywhere.

That's surprising, but it's very likely that we'll get Heynckes

That's great news for Germany NT =D> (A bit bad for us, but anyway he wasn't supposed to be a coach here in the near future)

It seems that all considerations are being settled, two year contract, IMO the board does not want experimetal games in a very special season, hosting the CL final at the Allianz Arena, and they have set their eyes on a reliable coach, who surely will not change 15 times (up to now) the defensive quartet, or who will not put CDMs as CBs, or who will not question the transfer of the best german goalie........ you know what I mean. And, for me, it seems logical, I wanna see high class CB, LB, RB....coming to Bayern, looking at the price, but without being stingy when you need those players.

I think after our loss in CL we might see some changes in coach area a bit earlier...

I dont think shuster is a safe option , we are in a very sensitive period and can`t take any risks , I personally prefer heynckes to both benitez and shuster for the next 1-2 year

I am not sure about Schuster, Benitez will not fit with the board, as he is the same kind of manager/coach Van Gaal is, who wants to decide about transfers, wages and so on. Then, apart from the fact that he does not speak german (absolutely nothing) will rule him out from the bench.
