Re: Is Jupp staying ??

I think it depends a lot on how the remaining key games of the season go.

Let us imagine that his replacement will be Guardiola. The way I see it:

Jupp: Not so great at tactical decisions or turning a game around. However, his biggest plus point is that he has managed to create a harmonious squad where no one is causing trouble. Just looking at several players' interviews, there is a huge awareness that Bayern is a team, not a group of individuals.

Guardiola: He is the opposite. In his time with Barca, he sold several big names and usually worked with a relatively small squad. That way he managed to control it, but it's just not the same as what Jupp is doing, since the latter is managing the squad without cutting its size. However, unlike Jupp he's had a lot of success in the modern game.

So, apart from Jupp's decision (for all we know he might not want to extend), our success and also our performances in the big games should decide whether we should risk our squad harmony in favour of a better tactician or not. At this point, I am in favour of Guardiola or Mourinho, but if it's not either of them, I hope Heynckes stays.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

The SUN article sets Guardiola to Man City coach. And they're pretty confident that it's gonna happen ..

Guardiola 100% certain to join Man City

Former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has opted to join Manchester City in the summer, with Roberto Mancini set to be axed after two failed Champions League campaigns.

These two things contradict each other.
Here (at his club of six years Bayern Munich) it is always good, here I am happy and here it's fun. That is more important for me than the national team.
