If our president was Franz Beckenbauer, I'd say there's a very good chance that our next coach'll be Rijkaard because he has very high opinion of Rijkaard. But Franz is only honorary presdent.
But Hoeness and Rummenigge are head of Bayern Munich. I really don't know their opinion of Rijkaard. Sammer is very realistic option, except he's not in good relationship with Hoeness. But I'm sure they won't look back at this fight if Bayern is in crisis. And Uli certainly won't let his personal relationship with someone be more important then FCB. Except, of course, with Daum.

That's what they said for Guardiola at Barcelona and Lennon at Celtic, look at their teams now. :)

Bayern Offside reports
Following the team’s return from Hannover Saturday night, sporting director Christian Nerlinger and captain Philipp Lahm held a private consultation at the Säbener Strasse. Louis van Gaal left the complex with his fate undecided. It has been reported that both Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge favor an immediate dismissal of Van Gaal, but are undecided on a successor.
Looks like the decision is looming closer, what with the planned press conference and all.
The ideal team

Well today we'll probably know.

I'd really hate to see LVG leave like this. He put us back on the map and he's really done great things for us. He made us play attractive football and we almost won the treble. There might not even be a better coach than LVG out there but a trainer change usually triggers a motivation change in the players. It could make us play good football again even if the trainer is tactically weaker than LVG.

But ya we cant go on like this, we play predictable and one pass can split our defense so easily. LVG has such a great football brain but his own stubborness caused his own downfall.

I've always been a great supporter of LVG but right now I'm quite undecided on the matter. On one hand I'd love LVG to be our coach and bring us glory but on the other hand time is running out and we might not even make CL football. I think our chair should ask the players what they want. If they still back van Gaal and are willing to play their hearts out for him then he should stay. If they have lost their faith in him he should go.

We can have some replacement trainer to the season-end but I dont see any experienced trainer that can motivate. Rijkaard is not an option hes prolly one of the most overrated trainers around.

That's exactly my point of view :)

If I were our board, I'd keep LVG at least until Hamburg and Inter.
