Bye Slomka!

That's a pity, he'd be my first choice domestic coach to succeed Jupp.

With Javi providing both a "water carrier" and a Spanish speaker (along with Gomez) looks like Guardiola would blend in OK.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

I think Jupp will extend for another year at least and three years at most. I bet he's enjoying this speculation, he's really quick at crushing/confirming player transfer rumours.
Emre CAN do it.

No way in hell he's extending for three years. He's already said that this might be his last, and if by any means he decided to stay, one year would be it. Though, I think a few of us here agree that he should move on at the end of the season anyway, regardless of the results.

Link plz, i would be jumping for joy if this is true! The new year is coming up and it would be nice to have a new coach of Pep Guardiola's caliber coming in after this season. The best thing i love about Pep is his belief in giving youngsters a chance to play like he did at Barca.

I feel that he is more consistent both in the domestic and international competitions than his German alternatives while doing it with less resources.

I believe that part about professionalism, one of the reasons he left Barca was because the board refused to sell Pique, Alves and Fabregas, who he saw as unprofessional.

I'd say sign Pep in January, bring him along to Doha (is that where were going again this year? Or are we going somewhere else?), let him get a feel for the team, the club and the structures and then have him take over in the summer. Until then Jupp can remain Coach and Pep can get accustomed to everything and use the time to learn German

Im just worried he might clash with the board over transfers or players he doesn't like. But none of our players other than Robben are like Eto'o, Ibra, and Ronaldihno character wise so i guess there should be nothing to worry about
