You misspelled Serie A, how can we be sure you watch the league? :P

1 goal on every 163 minutes.

And that's your striker.

Sounds better than Mueller playing as a striker.

Anyway, my point was not about whether or not we should have gone for him specifically, but rather to show that teams who are already packed in the striking department are buying strikers, whereas we continue to ignore the fact that we do not have a decent backup for Lewandowski. Our plan B involves playing a player out of position. And there isn't even a plan C... it'd be called a major crisis, possibly involving giving a 17 year old amateur footballer his senior debut.

Well,my post was not "against" you. :D
On misspelled Serie A,here in Bulgaria we're saying and writing "Seria A",and this is the reason for it.

And i completely agree with your arguments.

Milan really had trouble with strikers in the last seasons. Niang is a secondary striker or a winger not a dentro forward (at least at Milan he is never counted as striker) and right now they have sold all their strikers from the last season (Luiz Adriano was already gone in the winter market and now also Bacca and Lapadula, bought just last summer, are in other teams) and replaced them with Cutrone from the Primavera (aka the last junior team), Andre Silva (bought from Porto and still very young) who are 40 years old in two (19 and 21) and Kalinic because Milan need someone older and who know already serie A (you can not go in a club with Milan's name and actual ambitions in three competitions with only two boys as forwards) and Milan's management hoped to be able to buy some big name (and in that case they would have sent Cutrone away in loan) like Belotti, Aubameyang or Diego Costa... Silva for Milan is like Sanchez for Bayern (but luckily the boy look ready for playing as starter and can play also as secondary striker so can play with either Kalinic or Cutrone).

Bacca's biggest trouble at Milan is who he is not the kind of player who Montella like and the coach can not use him at the best (and Milan had not the players needed for supporting him). Many supporters of Milan still rate him high and are sorry to see him go but he was a bad fit for Milan (Montella himself said, not directly because he never compared them, who as striker Bacca is better than Kalinic but the latter is a much better fit for his team).
