Götze is benched because of Pep seeing him as a winger, not because of Lewy and Muller playing. Also, have you heard of rotation? :D
If you really believe Bacca will play every game then you have misunderstood this transfer. He is brought in to have a second option for Lewy, just like Madrid had Benzema and Higuain, City had Aguero, Dzeko, Bony and Negredo and Chelsea has Costa and Pato.

Why the hell are we even discussing the transfer of a half-decent striker at £30m? With that amount we can pay the combined wages of Ibrahimovic and Huntelaar.

Maximum £15m for him, a penny above that is ridiculous. I'd pay more for freaking Olivier Giroud for God's sake.

If Pep sees Götze as a winger, how come he's played the majority of games in the center? I remember asking you that some time ago already.
Again, whenever Pep could use all his wingers, Götze was on the bench. If he played, it was either for Thiago, Müller or Lewandowski. Recent example? Bremen match.

I'd rather have Götze in the 3 man rotation than Bacca. If I believed Bacca would play every game, would I say he'd take Götze's spot in the team?

Bremen match = rest match after the intense Juventus game, also why Götze got to play. Götze got to play in the center a lot in the first half of the season, yes. But why is he benched all suddenly now? So either Pep sees him as a CF or a winger, which he is not. I just realised you are talking about the present situation, where Bacca won't even appear whilst I am talking about the situation with Carlo.

Ibra has been offered a two-year contract at United worth €30m, which would make it a more expensive affair in the long-term.

Carlos Bacca [Carlos Arturo Bacca Ahumada]

Why he was suddenly benched? It's kind of hushed up news but Götze was injured a few months ago.

You're really **** my brain. Every coach he has been working with/is working with is seeing Götze as a player for the center. If you call it CF or CAM, I don't give a damn, because there's no difference anyway when Götze is on the pitch. Müller is playing a second striker behind Lewy, Götze would act more like a CAM. Götze is playing on the wing when we don't have options. This season when Robben & Ribéry were out, last year the same. When we had 4 wingers, just like now, he's playing in the center when Müller or Lewandowski are rested (Bremen match. Rotation, remember) or he's not playing at all which should be answering your question why he's suddenly benched.

Any reason why Ancelotti would see it differently? You might explain why Carlo wouldn't see Götze competing with Lewy & Müller when he's able to pick between Costa, Coman, Robben and Ribéry for the 2 winger positions.

Is it that hard to understand? Götze out -> Bacca in => Bacca competing with Lewy and Müller. Götze stays => Götze competes with Lewy & Müller => Bacca would replace Götze. Not really complicated maths. Of course this would change when 3/4 of our wingers are injured again.

Pep is not playing Götze because he doesn't like him that much and pep is leaving in the summer, so he doesn't need to deal with Götze being unhappy.

Carlo usually plays a 4-3-3.

This was how he played in Real
Casillas
Carvajal - Pepe - Ramos - Marcelo
Modric - Khedira/Alonso - Isco
Bale - Benzema - Ronaldo

Two CAM/CM positions. Not CF positions, they are midfield positions. Götze is alot identical to Isco and he worked very fine under Carlo. He will not be used as a striker or as a CF in his system.

Sounds promising. Pranjic would probably be a great player for him

I just realized how stupid this discussion is. We don't know how Ancelotti will play, altough I think this would be extremely unlikely. Müller would have to play on the right wing and Robben and Coman would be wasted on the bench. Unless he wants Lewandowski to compete with Müller this system is highly unlikely. I rate Ancelotti as a coach who's able to adapt to his player material.

PS: It was Modric-Alonso-Di Maria or Modric-Kroos-Isco. Isco only played a major role in the latter and that didn't really work out as a whole.

Ancelotti has said that he was a devout fan of the 4-4-2 in his early days. He has learned to adapt of course, but if he has the right players and it's the best solution for a team then we are going back to a 4-4-2 with him, just like the one we are mostly playing now.
