I don't like the combination of skill, experience, age and price.

He's no where near world class. He's good, that's about it.

Bayern Munich enter race for Carlos Bacca - bad news for Chelsea and Manchester United? [source]

It has to be the same source...

He's got everything for a striker.

He's solid striker whenever I've watched him and I would say a couple notches above Mandzukic but the price being stated makes him untouchable. Not that Bayern can't afford it but I just know they won't.

Not the worst price for a potential solid back up considering at the moment we have none but I don't know I'll be good with whatever the board and scouts decide.

If you read the article it says if Lewy leaves... 30 is still too much for a backup. The last time we bought a striker backup it was 15M, Mandzo or Piza for less.

Considering age, skill set and general talent, this guy would cost way too much to be a back-up.
I'd prefer Lacazette, who'd not be much more expensive, but is also a serious contender to develop into starting striker material.

He is 29 year old, you don't have to scout him, he is a great goalscorer with a killer instict , you wan't him? You pay him

Great striker but too expensive for a back up, if he wants to come and play 20 games per season max, he is welcome
Just to mention that Milan paid 30m to buy him and he is at the moment their best player so imagine how much they will ask
I think that this rumour is a hoax!

Milan boss did say they want 30 or more. Could be a good deal if we plan to use two strikers as some reports does say, But expsnive if we just want him as a backup. But he is a really good striker and that has he shown in sevilla-milan etc and in EL

He is a world class striker, maybe not the elite class like Lewy, Ibra, Suarez but he would be amazing in every other club.

We're getting stuck in semantics and basically agreeing to the same thing: Carlos Bacca is not among the very-best strikers in the world.
