Bart Ramselaar

Postby JANCKER » Tue Nov 01, 2016 1:32 pm

According to a report from the reputable Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, FC Bayern have obviously cast their eyes on a player of today's Champions League opponents PSV Eindhoven: Bart Ramselaar (20) is the young man that the record champions allegedly have on their paper. In the first leg of the Allianz Arena last week, the attacking midfielder did not make it to the pitch for 90 minutes. But Ramselaar is considered one of the rough diamonds in the team of coach Philipp Cocu - only this summer, Ramselaar, who was in the extended circle of the Dutch national team, transferred from FC Utrecht to PSV for 4.75 million euros and signed a contract until 2021 for five million Euros. In this season, Ramselaar appeared on seven games and created 4 goals (two goals, two assists) in the Eredivisie.

Probably his transfer to Bayern is not to be expected in the near future. Nevertheless, the development of the talented midfielder is likely to be followed closely at Säbener Strasse. Just like many others.

Sounds like a combination of Bart Simpson, Aaron Ramsey and Huntelaar.

What our netherlands forum boyz could say to us about this player ?

Just saw he isn't a forward but a playmaker ... too bad. That's no sence right now...
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

The fact that his main position is a central attacking midfield one, a position we are well equipped in, reduces credibility to this story.

we tend to buy players that played against us, so this fact alone adds credibility to it haha.

Anybody paid attention to this guy tonight? Did anything at all? I've seen him only when he was subbed out, the camera focused on him on the bench, that's all I can remember.

Can I reply? I'm not a Netherlands boy....

Kid is doing fine in the Eredivisie, but for now he's nothing special for the big stage yet. Maybe if he develops a bit he could get somewhere, but for now I'd say nope. Not in the least bc players from the Eredivisie have a hard time adjusting to the more physical Bundesliga. *cough* Luuk de Jong, Luuk Castagnos *cough*

I tried pretty hard to track this dude today...

He was solid, not exceptional...pretty average imo, nothing screaming "buy now". He made a pretty good run on PSV's (mistake of a) goal.....But if the source is to believed it sounds like he wouldn't be bought any time soon to begin with

He would have had a goal yesterday if not for Neuer's world-class save. Instead, he got an assist for an offside goal.

Miasanrot about Bart Ramselaar :

Usually, we don’t discuss transfer rumours, but when Bayern’s interest in Eindhoven’s Ramseelar became public, the 20-year old moved into the spotlight on Tuesday. Him being the best PSV player in their better first half completed the picture.

In the summer, Ramselaar came to PSV from FC Utrecht, where he was coached by former Bayern reserve coach Erik ten Hag, and he collected four scorer points in his five starts for PSV this season.

Against Bayern Ramselaar occupied a free role behind de Jong and moved to either side in attack. The dynamic allrounder has very good ball control. He is no speed dribbler, but hard to dispossess in tight situations. He was also involved in the PSV goal when he assisted the goal with his cross.

Bayern has intensified their scouting in the under-21 segment over the last few years and have a couple of talents all over Europe on their radar, but observing doesn’t mean a concrete interest and even less an upcoming transfer. Currently Ramselaar’s game is not mature and versatile enough for Bayern, but the Dutch under-21 international, who has his strengths in the counter-attacks, has used the spotlight in the game against Bayern very well.

Buying from Dutch league is too risky nowadays, since their level is dropped too much in the last years.when scouting from Dutch league, CL performance should be decisive.
