yes of course

I have never said that he is bad , i only hated the fact that he loved to get yellow cards

but now he is a mature player and his skill in everything have improved

against us he was Sick and led his team in all positive and even some bad stats that game

Had Tymoschuk left us , I would have welcomed Vidal as MVBs Replacement

but Tymoschuk is better than him

But Vidal can play All Defensive and Midfield positions so he could be valuable

and this does not count as scouting as we all know him

Scouting of the year belongs to Dortmund , who Brought one of the leagues best players from a 2nd Division team in Japan !!!

He is a very good player, very tough and now mature and many top teams will benefit from him
although I hate his provacative way on the pitch someimes
But I hope for more as a MvB replacement

And I really hope that Vidal remains in the Bundesliga

I dont think we need another central midfielder
Even if MvB leaves,
We will have Kroos, Schweini, Tymo for central midfield spot

By the time MVB leaves, Tymoshchuck will be 32.
He'll have one maybe two good years left in him.
And Kroos still hasn't proved anything yet.

Right now I'd welcome any great central midfielder. And Vidal somewhat qualifies for that however I can think of better options.

Agreed!! I remember last year at some point he got 8 yellow cards in 8 successive BL matches he played in.

I like this guy because he can play in a lot of positions and I like this kind of South American player.

Players like this are really useful for every team (Vidal, Träsch...) but I don't see him leaving Leverkusen

Vidal has better skills than MvB but he has the same temprament, meaning he'll negatively affect the team with silly yellow cards.

Vidal is a bit impulsive but he always try to control his fouls, I don't think that will be a problem, in fact, I think MVB is worse with fouls.

He's fast, good defense and can play in every defensive position. He only needs a bigger team to improve even more. Great as CM and CDM, but he's also pretty good as LB, could be really helpful in case of injuries. I would definitely go for him instead of Sahin. He's a much more useful player, and he has a lot to improve (LVG might help a lot).

That's what I like about chilean players, most of them are polyfunctional, and I believe LVG like that too :)

We will have Alaba and Ekici who can play as Central Midfielders.
So, if we buy another one, we will be overpacked with central midfielders.

Vidal has matured a lot in the last 1-2 years... He does not receive that many yellow cards these days.... Still his playing style is a shade too harsh/bold, which makes him a very valuable player as CDM.... Furthermore, he has rather good technique, is rather fast, and has a good ball control, is a good distributer of the ball...

All I'm saying is that if a coach believes in a player of MvB's style, he could pretty much use Vidal who has all the benefits of such a player, but at the same time, does not have the negative aspects of his game, i.e., he does not slow our gameplay like MvB does... he won't ruin the fluidity of our game... and so on...

Sahin is a totally different type of player.... he is an attacking architect not a warrior like Vidal.... I think every good team with two central defensive midfielders should have one of each type... Can't really compare them...
