"I do not think about a change, I feel really good here," said Vidal on SPORT1 demand.

The 30-year-old went even further and spoke of an extension of his contract expiring in 2019: "Of course I would like to extend! That is an option and my children are very happy here."

"I do not know what some newspapers write," said Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic after the Schalke game to the speculation about Vidal. "Did I say that before? No!"

"Arturo is a full professional and he impressively proved to Schalke that he is one of the leading players here," said Salihamidzic.

This is how Vidal himself sees it. "I do not know if I've been here so well before," said the 30-year-old. "It's clear: I feel very good, especially physically, and I have no problems with injuries, it helps me."

Maybe so much that the Bavarians do not show him the door in the summer, but offer a new contract.

Per Bild an extension "is not an option" for Bayern; they want to move forward with younger players.

If it's true then it's funny that they don't want to extend 30 yrs old player who still plays very well, but are considering extending 35 yrs old Ribbery who's been in decline for some time.. :|

I agree with you. The guy likes it here, gives it his all and if he can be more professional and mature a couple of years from now (unlike Ribery) then I would love it if Vidal would retire in Munich.

Vidal gets 150.000 weekly... don't know if after tax...

When I searched I found out this...

Robert Lewandowski, Arturo Vidal, Frank Ribery, Arjen Robben, Mats Hummels and Kingsley Coman are the highest paid players at Bayern Munich.

Coman????? Is this is a sick joke or something?
If it is true shame on who decides such things...
Javi and Boa should be up there as well together with Alaba...

Blame their agents if anything. No reason for us to just pay them more because we feel like it lol.

If Coman is being paid 14-15 then we'll have to pay some others at least 20...
