Honigstein is arguing that Goretzka's transfer surely spells the end of Vidal at Bayern.

Recent news by Chelsea already started these rumours.

It is really sort of surprising since a few months ago the resident "Das Ligahaus" reporter living in Germany (an Argentinian) spoke candidly with Vidal personally during a fan club visit near Munich.

Not only did Vidal confirmed he was happy in Munich, right after the interview Ezequiel Daray (the conductor) confirmed Vidal's son is diabetic (he said this on his program so I don't think I'm touching on personal information not shared previously) and the team helped him receive treatment he was not able to get anywhere else and he planned, therefore, to stay in Munich for a while.

Looks like things might have changed since then. Bummer.

with Goretzka signing we have offload one of Tolisso/Vidal. Vidal will be 31 next summer, after moving Martinez to midfield, l think it's best time for us to part ways with Vidal. also considering he wants the last big contract. This move will benefit both parts.

It makes no sense to sell him. He is probably one of the elite destroyers in the game as off now. We should have one of him and Javi on the field at all times. Plus its Javi that's been picking up injuries every now and then while Vidal has mostly stayed fit. If we aren't selling Javi anytime soon why should we sell Vidal. If anything else those two should rotate so one of them is always fresh for big games. Considering all this , it would be absolutely stupid to let him go. If anything we should sell one of Gnabry, Sanches or Rudy if we must in order to splash out on a winger.

He's getting old and the way he plays aging will hit him harder than standard. Conte wants him badly in Chelsea. We can cash Costa and Vidal and even Renato so we can use that money on some quality winger. Not even talking about we will have a crowded midfield when Goretzka arrives. Gotta open up space for youngsters.

He is doing just fine right now, if anything Javi has been an injury headache off late, for me two of them should be able to rotate, we don't need to fix something that's not broken.

I have a feeling that Fifa's favorite son will be made champion ... he will get all the help from Refs to achieve this...

Chelsea started negotiations with Bayern for Arturo Vidal and made a first bid of €37m. Bayern want €60m [@PipeSierraR]
