You all forgot how shitty was alonso ?

Yep. He's better when the games are dynamic and the ball is moving faster and we saw that in Chile games. With the last Ancelotti interview, it's looking like he's going to start with 2 more MFs - he's going to help Tolisso with the ball movement, as Thiago will be little in front of them. It's going to look something like 4 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1.

2 more MFs? So we'll have 5 CMs?

Nope, I meant :
Neuer
Kimmich, Hummels, Sule, Alaba
Tolisso, Vidal
Thiago
Robben, Coman
Lewandowski
I think you've got the idea now.

That's literally the same as last season but with Tolisso instead of Alonso.

Well,at 80 % maybe yes.
I'm copy/pasting my post from tactics thread:

Ancelotti has now picked up domestic titles in his native Italy, England, France, Spain and Germany. Although a versatile coach,he has nonetheless built most of those successful teams - AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid - on a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Let's watch this:
Bayern's line up in 2016/17, based on minutes played and average positions.
Image

Having won the league 15 points clear of nearest challengers Leipzig, it is safe to assume that Ancelotti will stick to the old adage of "don't fix something if it isn't broken," at least in terms of his formation.
Further forward, Müller could find himself under increasing pressure from Coman. He suffered injuries to his ankle and then knee which kept him out of contention for much of this term. His four goals and six assists in 2015/16 were testament to his talent.Let's not forget that Ancelotti gave him his PSG debut in 2013 when he was just 16 years, eight months and four days of age.
About my man,Tolisso,Anchelotti said : "I think that Tolisso also has a good profile to replace a player like Alonso." I cannot imagine breaking the club record for someone, and putting him on the bench. So,according to Carlo,he's going to put Corentin in Alonso's place.

If i had to bet on how Bayern is going to look in 2017/18 i'm all in for 4-2-3-1.if you follow strictly the formation it's 4-2-1-2-1.

Image

I'm sure it's going to be a lot of variations on defence. The only thing i'm sure for-when Hummels is fit,he's starting.
Also, for me Ribery is no more a starter. No matter how,we should develop quick Coman, because he's going to be a 100 % starter after Robbery era,he should be ready for that.
Yeah,i'm not either fan of the Müller on the bench but..We need our left wing to do some damage.(Müller, depending on the opponent) is going to start some matches.

I see that Sabatini moved to Inter... I thought for a moment it was Roma, but now they have Monchi.

If Vidal wants to leave I don't think Bayern will stop him but at the moment he seems very content if they are rumors of an extension...

Vidal's relation with Bayern extends beyond a salary. He's not going anywhere.

Inter, assalto a Vidal: pronti 60 milioni di euro [source]

Inter are ready to offer 60M for A.Vidal - wage 8M yearly.

Apparently Vidal liked a tweet from an Inter fan and they are making up a story out of it.

However if this is true and they offer to pay 60M cash in full we should not reject the offer.

Are we sure we can replace him right now tough? 60m is good and all if we can put it to good use. Is there another extremely combative midfielder that we can go and get now? Is Goretzka ready week in and week out now, if we go and get him? Leipzig sure as hell isn't selling Keita either. With the way the market is going, I am sure we can get something for Vidal next year as well.
