Good one :) But let's not get carried away guys and stick to the topic.

With yesterday's rumoured transfer of GvdW, I am wondering if this increases our chances of getting Vidal, who can play as LB and RB.

That way we'd be balanced (if we sell Pranjic), because we'd have Lahm and Vidal who can play as LB and RB, Contento who can play as LB and van der Wiel who can play as RB.

And the guy has come out saying he would like to play for FC Bayern, which won't make a fan favourite or be in the Leverkusen board's good books...

the more i read about vidal the more he talks about bayern and how he want to play for us. Leverkusen will have to sell him if they want money for him this season. Only problem is what happens with gustavo who we just bought??? But i would like to see vidal at bayern

Vidal is one of those players who will be very easy to get. We just have to wish he was ours, and he'll come to Munich. Whether or not we need him remains to be seen though.

We would be stupid not to get him now that he would do everything to join us.

Vidal has a lot of qualities and fixes few of our problems...

1. Back-up for Lahm
2. Very good DMC
3. Backup for LB [Coentrao?]
4. Is young and is one of the hottest BL players
5. He already plays under our new coach and he already knows the tactics.

As for Gustavo, Tymo and Kroos...If those cant fight for that place next to schweini than they are not worth playing for us.

Tymo is old and he will probably leave next season...and we should build a young solid squad with good young players like Vidal.

Gustavo can also play as LB, CB and DMC so he will have playing time for sure.

and Kroos probably wont play as holding midfielder with Heynkess as he likes to have 2 natural holding midfielders in his squad. He will maybe get a chance as AMC or will be a sub for Ribery/Robben

IT seems that Arturo Vidal is going to Leave Leverkusen even though Voeller wont admit it

Vidals contract ends in 2012 and he refused to extend it , and that Leverkusen have reached their financial Maximum in their offer"

Rudi Voeller "Everything must fit into the financial Frame , with our offer we have leaned too much out of the window , But there are Borders too"

then he added " Stand of today , Vidal is staying"

Bild says that Leverkusen offered Vidal an annual Salary of 2.2 million euros Which Bayern can easily top if they want to (rensing salary here was 1.5 million euros !!)

I don't think Kroos will be a first team regular unless an injury to Robbery occurs, AMC is Muller's spot. He made it his own. There is no reason to bench him.

Anyway, I wouldn't buy Vidal for more than 10 mio euros, he would be a welcome addition if he is as versitale as you say but he still doesn't cover the positions we really need ( not as a starter anyway).

I'd take him but only if he comes for cheap. I wouldn't like to pay more than 12-15M for him because we need to spend the money in at least one solid CB

Reports from Germany indicate that FC Bayern are no longer interested in Arturo Vidal.
