Lampard also manages to score 3 goals in 10 games on a completely new team consisting of players that have never played together then that definitely says something about the quality of the league (or lack thereof).

If he wants to go to Besiktas we should let him

I agree that he will rip the MLS but I stand by my previous comment, regardless of where he goes next (or if he stays) I would love to see him finishing his career in the MLS, at least one season. If it is in 2-4 years maybe he will be on time for the Beckham owned Miami team inaugural season planned for 2018.

I would love to watch him first hand in MLS 8)

watching Giovinco rip this league to shreds has been a pleasure too, but Robben would be something else

Robben will be something very similar to Drogba and Thierry Henry.

Also this guy that could be joining MLS can set a precedence as well:

I wouldnt wanna sell Robben anyway.... he wouldnt bring in a large enough return financially

I'd rather keep him for the year, hope he can give a good 25-30 appearances as a starter/sub, and then re-evaluate his situation next summer

if he leaves, so be it... but I'd rather keep him for 1 more year than sell him for a small pocket full of cash

Id rather keep Robben here, he can still win us matches, he is still quality, and we won't make a good cash amount on selling him.

IMO Robben has still got a lot to give, he just needs to stay healthy... my perception is that he himself feels much younger than his age and that's a good thing. He's the type of player who wants a lengthy career despite all the obstacles... football is everything to him.
When did not Robben suffer from injuries? Robben and injuries, still a better love story than twilight.
He might be made of glass but his character is made of iron.

Arjen Robben's father and agent has told Kicker that his son "would like to stay" at Bayern Munich after his current deal expires next summer.

Ribery stands a better chance to get one... Robben's contract extension hasn't been mentioned that often as Ribery's in the media.
