Do you want to go for a player when Barca and RM start to bid? It's better to take them when they don't cost much.
I'm not saying to go after this one, cause I don't know much about Rudiger.

I rather not sign anybody than Rüdiger who doesn't help us at all...Rather bring back Kirchhoff from loan.

TZ give FC Bayern a 40% chance of being interested in signing Antonio Rüdiger. [source]

Guardiola said that he wants to sign a right-footed CB. Therefore, Rüdiger is still a possibility.

It's sad what happened to Badstuber. Maybe we should look into another CB this winter. He was really good against us.

Nah man, if we are about to buy a defender in the winter transfer, i reckon we should go for experience over talent. It's only necessary due to injuries as was the case with Alonso. Without Injuries we have plenty of talent down in defense.

We'll have Benatia and Boateng for that. Rudiger can be a top German defender in the near future. I hope for the best for Badstuber but at this rate, it wouldn't be bad for Bayern to secure a younger CB which we have not done in a while. Is there even one to call up in Bayern II? Dante had one season and been declining since then. And if we consider an experienced one in the winter transfer, we will be limited to not CL teams or EL teams.

No point in getting anyone this winter. Baddy will most likely be back around that time.

He has the physical predisposition to become a world-class center back, but he's quite a mediocre defender who still does a lot of mistakes at his actual job. However, if he somehow manages to work on that part of the game very hard, then he is in the Jérome Boateng / Mats Hummels category of center backs. He's still 21 years of age, which gives him time, yet he's also already 21 years of age which means he has to use the next 2-3 years very wisely.

A very good purchase by Wolfsburg, if true.
