Perfect replacement for Ribery! I hope this rumor turns into something.

Robben will convince Depay and Ribery will convince Griezmann to come here.
Sounds like a plan.

If he'd come, he'd play more like a second striker behind Lewandowski I think and not so much a replacement for Ribery.

Yeah, thats why i don't want him. For second strikers/CAMs we have Müller and Götze. No need for another. We need wingers.

Pep plays a fluid offense where everyone involved in the front four practically interchanges throughout the game. Obviously each player has their own roles but non wide playmakers like Griezmann and even De Bruyne would still be effective. Also in his Sociedad days he played wider than he does now, I doubt he would find any trouble fitting in.

True, but we need what we need is dribblers. Haven't seen enough of Griezmann to know for sure, but he hasn't given me the impression that he is the right player for us. Hasn't really impressed me that much overall TBH.

These days it's no use pigeon holing anyone who plays for Pep. I think even Bayern Central has given up :D Whoever comes he's gonna have to become a more complete multifaceted player or he'll be left behind.

I think the previous source was from Transfermarkt, but just to add variety.

I'm tired of these transfer rumors because unless it's poaching BVB, Bayern operates silently and these reports are probably off the mark.

Griezmann is not as smooth of a dribbler as maybe Ribery or Robben but from what I've seen(matches vs Barca and R.Madrid so far)he is comfortable with the ball at his feet and can take on defenders. Also he is quite a good finisher with 18 goals and 6 assists to his name so far this season. I don't know what you may or may not have seen but this guy is pure quality.

Considering his age he is also a player who will no doubt be expected hit the ground running but he is still young enough where he has room to grow.

Well, Griezmann has just turned 24 and Schweinsteiger will soon turn 31, and has become injury-prone. So it's not exactly the end-of-the-world scenario.
