to be honest the guy is damn good....criminally underrated....I think by his choice not to leave his club. I know this has all the feeling of a Costa but please don't be quick to pass judgement..i rate him pretty highly well that just me

Let it be known though tht he is not my first choice tbh

There was a very promising guy at Lokomotiv Moscow ... what happened to those rumours?

Good player, but not the kind you need as a starter to win the Champions League.

**** no.
Decent player, but already turning 28 this year and he seems to have massive mentality problems.

If we let Costa leave to sign such player we should be relegated to amateur football along with 1859+1.

We might aswell keep Costa.
There's more chance he'll still turn out good for us than Yarmolenko ever being a huge hit

How many people would have said that about Owen Hargreaves before he showed what he was about on the big stage?

Or Willy Sagnol?

Please, lets try and move away from the Mercenary mentality.

That's perfect, the only player we needed... we are ready to compete against the Spaniards giants #Sarcasm

Seriously he is 28, he is playing in a weak league, what about Sanchez, Brandt, James? He most costs less than 10 millions

Talk about overreaction.

Just compare Yarmolenko's performances in the Ukrainian League against Costa's to see who the superior player is.

I offset the statistics by 1 year since Yarmolenko is 1 year older than Costa, so this is a comparison of the players at the same age in the Ukrainian league.

Yarmolenko (10/11) 26 games 11 goals 9 assists, Costa (11/12) 27 games 6 goals 3 assists
Yarmolenko (11/12) 28 games 12 goals 7 assists, Costa (12/13) 27 games 5 goals 2 assists
Yarmolenko (12/13) 27 games 11 goals 7 assists, Costa (13/14) 27 games 4 goals 11 assists
Yarmolenko (13/14) 26 games 12 goals 6 assists, Costa (14/15) 20 games 4 goals 6 assists
Yarmolenko (14/15) 26 games 14 goals 14 assists, Costa (15/16) transferred to Bundesliga
Yarmolenko (15/16) 23 games 13 goals 10 assists
Yarmolenko (16/17) 28 games 15 goals 7 assists

You can draw your own conclusions, but Yarmolenko seems better than Costa to me by both metrics and visually playing for Kiev and Ukraine.

I'd say Sanchez>Yarmolenko>Costa

Oh my god...He is Inconsistet, has have finishing problems, his on-field attitude (at times) is really, really bad , his one-footedness is killing me and can be overly selfish sometimes (hey, perfect for Lewa !). These juornalists at Komanda should stop smoking crack.
