I am not against extending his contract but I believe bringing one of the Bender brothers to the team would be perfect for us.
Sven is better, Lars is cheaper but they are both great, members of Germany NT and Bavarians. :D

If it comes down to extending Tymoshchuk's contract or having a team full of benders, I'd go for the former.

PS: bender is a derogatory word for a homosexual, as in gender bender.

I would rather pursue Khedira than either one of the Bender boys as neither has really impressed me with their skills alone. If and when Tymo leaves I am sure that Bayern will look at all their options, not just people from the Bundesliga.

You are probably right but you know that they prefer a less skillful player who is German international than a better foreigner.

I wont go for Khediera,he does not start at Real. Ofcourse that is not really his 100 % fault but I think he is a lot like Tymo,0 offensively. Gustavo's build up play is much better & is very quick too. That is the kind of player I want. Lars is more of a box to box player & thats why I would prefer him. Sven is a defensive beast & muchb younger than Khediera.

They are cheaper. In 2013 they will probably have 1 year left in their contract & we can get these guys for 7-8 Million. Khediera has a long term contract with Real.

I don't believe anyone waited from you to go for Khedira unless you work for the Board.
Sven's contract ends 30/06/2016.

Cool. I would obviously post what I want & you will be likewise. None of us work for Bayern & we cant decide it. So its all wishes. 2016 makes it a bit harder to get Sven, that's bad. Lars is an option but look at what Leverkusen did with Vidal.

Agreed. We should start playing Gustavo again, because he's a very good player. He was just out of form. Let us not forget how he shut down Sneijder on his own just a few weeks after joining Bayern last season.

MUTU wrote:A clause in Tymoshchuk's contract has been revealed that allows for a one-year contract extension if he plays in 25 matches this season, in all competitions. The only condition is that he must be on the field for at least 45 minutes for this automatic contract extension.

So far, he has 18 matches under his belt, and so his contract will soon be extended by a further season when he features in 7 more matches.

"Timoschtschuk contract will be extended automatically," said Heynckes in an almost casual way in an interview with kicker.

Tymo now has 22 matches under his belt in which he has played for at least 45 minutes. He needs just 3 more in order to have his contract extended.

Good news, he's a valuable member of the squad but after next season, I do not see him getting another offer from the board.

I don't know how I had calculated 22 matches before. He's actually only got 19.
