BetFair, official partner of Arsenal FC, has lowered their betting odds on a transfer of Alexis Sanchez to Bayern to 1,33.
That means if you bet 1€ on Alexis to us, you'd win 1,33€ if that is the case.
Extremely low and way lower than a transfer to City.

Pretty weird, he is not needed anymore after the James signing though so it's probably nothing

It is very odd indeed.
You can't even bet on a transfer to us on some platforms anymore. :?
If he comes that's pretty much a 4231 set in stone and Renato out on loan.

It was over 10 for Bayern earlier...
Also 4.5 is quite a bit different from 1.33

Altough it might just be an error.

The question is why did it suddenly drop that much..
Arsenal will be reluctant to sell to city no1..sanchez finally got some sensed knoced into him no.2..no.3 signing james convinced him we aim big..I think there is something..

Anyway incase he signs I will faint by simply seing this..
Sanchez-Muller-James
Lewandowski

No need to play also..

If we got Alexis our best possible formation would be

Alexis-Lewy-Müller
Thiago-Javi(Vidal)-James
Alaba-Hummels-Boateng-Kimmich
Neuer

We would have too many midfielders, though.

I think that is a mistake on the betfair, seems to me that is 13.3 instead of 1.33.

I disagree, the tendency would be more towards having too many attackers. But you can probably count out 1 of Robben & Ribéry permanently.
Don't really understand why so many people see Javi ahead of Vidal in midfield. He's probably more of a security for midfield and 3rd man at CB.
4: Alaba, Boateng, Hummels, Kimmich + Süle, Martínez, Bernat and Rafinha
2: Thiago, Vidal + Tolisso and Rudy (+ Martínez)
3: James, Müller/Robben, Sanchez + Robben/Müller, Ribéry and Coman
1: Lewandowski (+Alexis)

I don't get what you mean. Are you saying Vidal is more of a security than Javi? I think Vidal is at his best when pressing. Javi can act as a traditional DM and join in as a 3rd CB if needed. I think that would make our defense more solid than with Vidal.

I meant as a security when we have some injuries, I thought that would be clear.
Javi hasn't played consistently in midfield for ages and as far as I remember hasn't even played a competitive match there with Ancelotti here.
It really makes no sense moving him there when we have enough midfielders already.

But yes, I think there might be more balance with Javi and Thiago as the double 6.

Its because:

Alexis Sanchez to @RadioSportChile: "I want to play in the Champions League. The decision doesn't depend on me, I have to wait for Arsenal."

Alexis: "I've made my decision, now I wait for Arsenal's reply. The idea is to play and win the CL. I've dreamt about it since I was a kid."

This was reported 1-2 days ago, I bothered to paste it here.

It's still hard to believe a quote like that would make the odds go from 23 to 1.33.

Odds can go low because maybe people were betting plenty on Bayern previousy before the drop, so thats normal. The betting company would have to be crazy to keep the odd at 23.
