You are right, Heynckes has to see the need and he doesn't.

Boateng is German and so is Badstuber -- while Breno is Brazilian and so is Alex, and Alex > Breno -- plus there is a future in Alex with an immediate impact of experience as Breno seems headed for the exit and is still not solid.

Not sure what is going on in Heynckes head and I don't want to insult his intelligence, so he must know something the rest of us don't.

Considering last night, Gustavo and Tymo are options at centre back for the coach, might be a reason why we are no longer trying to add a defender.

I get the feeling we will be having lots of emergencies this season just like last. Why not correct that. Its not like our squad is very large -- we could still add 2 or more players and still be fine, yet just adding 1 person (ALEX) would solve lots. If it is a thing about signing another south american, then let breno go and we replace him with Alex. For me the subject of Alex seems to be over as I realize now that Heynckes and Nerlinger want to float their hopes on faith and not solid reinforcements. Bayern isn't World Class if we can't have a squad that is World Class and capable of competing in all competitions. I say they would rather just win the league again. Mark my words in that we won't make it into the semis of the CL -- much less even qualify if we get a tough team. Look at teams like Barca, Real, ManU, etc. and how they rebuild -- Barca easily would put down €40+ mill on Sanchez and a separate €40+ mill on febregas to get the right players -- hence, why they win the CL and everything else. Bayern take note! We are only talking about €10 mill -- WTF!!!

I still believe Alex will be our Robben. Last minute transfer that will change us for good.

well they seem to only listen to those Koan-Neuer fans maybe we should start holding signs in the upcoming games writtern Koan-Alex all over them maybe that way our board will listen

Nerlinger has made a public call for an improved defense, so my bet is - if Bayern manages a decent enough game in the Audi cup, no new purchase. If the defense is laughable, there'll be a signing.

Yep I knew that that's y i was being sarcastic when some fans held Koan-Neuer we ended up getting him.... maybe the same could be done with Alex... it deserves a try dont u think
