I read that Dortmund is looking for Trapp because Burki doesnt convince, so one of them in Bayern is much better than Ulreich.

I really hope we sign a keeper.

Burki is terrible, I will never understand why BvB bosses have been content with him for such a while

Burki has been a rock for us this season. He only had one off game against Tottenham.

Goretzka is a certain signing while I don't expect Renato to return, James & Thiago is a nice and beneficial competition for the #10 role while I'd like Muller & Draxler competing for the RW position but Coman is OK. Tolisso if he keeps playing like this he will be definitely on bench. Martial is my preferred winger better in almost every stat and skill than Coman and a very good finisher.

I agree with the outs and I'd like to see Martial,Draxler,Goretzka,Dolberg,Gebre Selassie plus one big signing, preferably a CM or RW.
All of these potential signings are possible and in our price range easily. If any superstar signings come in then Coman & Renato should be sold to make way for those big name signings.

Lol, anyone who has thought about or just imagined even for a monent in a wildest dream, a setup with Thiago on bench and Rudy in the first team, should not be considered reasonable or held accountable for his actions.

I didn't want to formulate it that harshly, but yeah, the essence of what you're saying is right.

Thiago on the bench... I'm glad to be alive seeing a player like him in the Bayern jersey. The Ribéry in midfield.
People need to chill with the Rudy hype...It's amazing how quickly people forget how insane Thiago was last year... Yes, Rudy was good against NORTHERN IRELAND, but Thiago can do whatever he can do AND has the little extra.

As a #10 he must start no matter what as a #8 he is overrated as hell. I rushed since James was already in and just moved Thiago.
Nevertheless they will compete for the spot I hope and not Muller.
As for Rudy, he is a great sidekick to partner with but not on a duo while his partner advances too much and leaves spaces(Thiago) he can become a key player under certain circumstances.

When Thiago was playing as a #10 he took the role of a #8. Why are people so fixated on the system and it's supposed positions? Just like Kroos in 12/13.
Anyway, he's best as a #6 when he can have as much of the ball as possible. He's not enough of a goal threat to be a true #10. I absolutly see no reason why James + Thiago shouldn't work and one of our most gifted players out of those 2 should have to sit down?

I was talking about a midfield similar to the one we had in 2013

Any combination of Thiago + CM will always be less balanced than Schweini - Javi Martinez.

Rudy is not even close to Thiago in terms of skill (few players in the world are), but he adds balance and strength to the midfield and Jupp's Bayern was well known for those 2 attributes. One think that I also like is that Rudy is German and I think we need a German midfield to direct the game.

But even if Vidal and Rudy play, there would still be space for Thiago in the lineup

Thiago-Javi would be our best midfield if Javi gets back to top form. Otherwise, Thiago and Vidal. James as a 10 and Müller on the Heynckesian RW. Kimmich, Lewy and Neuer on their obvious positions. The rest need to prove their worth again.

Because in theory there is no balance since none of them is a great defender neither has the strength to oppose or break midfields when it comes to defend, James work rate is non existent matter of fact compared to Thiago who busts his ass.

I have 4 years watching Thiago and for 4 years he can't step up against equal or better opponents in his so-called preferred position, he is a liability there... I don't know if his partner messes it up equally(Vidal or any other DM/CM) but if his best position is #6 then I prefer him benched and get another type of midfielder with different skill set. We can try different partnerships and things but having both Thiago & James on the field sounds risky to me even against mid table Bundesliga opponents. We'll see, I prefer a more balanced team, I always was in favor of some power and strength in midfield than super technical.

My preferred position of Thiago is what Ancelotti used him last year instead of Muller, behind Lewandowski. He excelled as well, I prefer him there.

if Thiago is not aggressive enough, he fails to perform vs solid teams. maybe because of his player profile. He dribbles too much vs solid teams and if he is not agressive enough vs that sides, he fails. When he is aggressive, he did well, such as A.Madrid games e.t.c. l think he will perform better at regista than trequartista, since he will find more space and time with the ball there.

l don't want to talk about PSG game, just because PSG game was a mess for us. Shape of the midfield, Albero di natale, giving so much space and time with the ball to Kurzawa and Alves e.t.c. Carlo was absolutely a disaster.

it's impossible to sign a WC regista nowadays. since we can't find anyone on the market. no such profiles on the market. Then, we must focus on Werner, who can also play as winger and at least a top talent for RW, along with Goretka and Brandt or Gnabry.

IMO we should look for a keeper this coming Jan...
I would go to seek one in italy...
Berisha - atalanta
Perin - Genoa
Scuffet - Udinese
Mirante - Bologna
