I don't know what to say...

The Bayern Munich team could look a whole lot different right now but the club rejected the opportunity to sign a number of top players.

Carlo Ancelotti’s have had an uncharacteristically inconsistent start to the new season and there is more bad news coming for fans.

According to German football magazine Kicker, the Bundesliga giants could have signed a whole host of big names over the past year or so.

Naby Keïta is just one of the players mentioned. Now set to join Liverpool next summer, the midfielder allegedly held talks with Bayern, who were worried about being accused of tapping the player up without RB Leipzig’s permission.

There were also preliminary talks with Alexis Sánchez in the summer, but the Arsenal forward’s wage demands were too high.

Speaking of Manchester City, Bayern were supposedly interested in Leroy Sané before his move to the Etihad Stadium; they wanted to sign Sané from Schalke but not as early as last summer.

Gabriel Jesus was also offered to the Bavarian club, who he could have joined for just €25m. However Bayern, like Real Madrid and Barcelona, passed on the opportunity.

Manchester City’s Jadon Sancho was also offered to Bayern before opting to sign for Borussia Dortmund, while Sadio Mané could have joined the club in the past but – again – Bayern were not interested.

I would have loved Mane... and Jesus...
The others are not imo anything special

Jesus was a gamble, and our most recent gambles did not turn out too well...there was another "big" Brazilian name that Summer who moved for quite a bit of money, I forgot his name. He went to Italy and flopped pretty hard. There was no guarantee that Jesus would adapt as well as he has (plus we'll never know how much the German language plays a part when it comes to foreign talents' flopping)

We need a solid GK.

Ulreich seems to be a good guy, but he's worse than Kraft or Rensing

Neuer might be back around January or February, but we shouldn´t take any risk. And a solid GK shouldn't be too expensive. 10-15M max

Yeah, it's not really of much importance right now...However I'd consider making a January signing. I suppose it depends on how the season goes but I'm of the opinion that we should consider just shutting down Neuer for the year. He will of course be playing in WC, and while it's not Bayern's job to make sure the NT has healthy players - long term, it's better for us to ensure he doesn't head to the WC at less than 100% - easy for him to reinjure further and end up missing more time for FCB overall.

Victor Valdes is a free agent(meaning we could sign him anytime). Unfortunately, he also said that he's retired.

We already used our opportunity to register a goalkeeper for UEFA competitions with Starke. Unless Ulreich or Fruechtl are out injured for over a month we won't be able to replace them in the Champions League.

Jesus what an idiot. Valdes would be my least choice of a player ever. I rather have lunch with Lewan's two agents than negotiate a contract with that dope.

So Jupp will take over and try to get this team back together so the following coach can properly reconstruct this squad (with Lahma as sporting director please [-o< ).
Either Nagelsmann, Tuchel or Klopp will take over is my bet.

Out:
Robben
Ribéry
Vidal
Rafinha
Ulreich

Leaves us with this most likely:

------------------- Lewandowski ------------------
---------------------( ________) --------------------
_______ ------------ James --------------- Müller
(______) ---------- (______) ------------ (Coman)
------------- Thiago --------- Tolisso --------------
------------ (Rudy) --------- (Renato) ---------------
Alaba ----- Hummels ---- Boateng ------- Kimmich
(Bernat) - (Martínez) --- (Süle) -------- (________)
------------------------ Neuer ---------------------------
---------------------- (_______) ------------------------

So we'll need 2 wingers, 1 midfielder, 1 back-up right back, 1 back-up keeper and maybe 1 back-up striker.
Without knowing who the next coach will be it's a bit difficult predicting, but it will definatly be an exciting/scary/expensive summer...

According to Le Parisien, Trapp can leave PSG for 15 million.

I read that Dortmund is looking for Trapp because Burki doesnt convince, so one of them in Bayern is much better than Ulreich.
