Dembele and Goretzka aren't big names (yet), so it's all good. :coffee:
Do it Uli, you'll weaken our competition once again and your dream of FC Bayern Germany will be one step further.

Mesut Özil is on his last year of contract now and surprisingly there haven't been rumours linking him to Bayern or any other club.

German, not overpriced, hasn't been linked with us and there doesn't seem to be space for him at all in our team. I wouldn't be suprised if we signed him :coffee:

I think when he plays in a team full of performers and great individuals he's brilliant, like he was for Real Madrid.
He's not the player to go ahead. If he wasn't already 29 I wouldn't say no.

now that Costa is most likely leaving, we desperately need a new winger. Thing is there won't be anyone available. Sanchez is probably on his way to City, Lemar to Arsenal and Bernardeschi to Juve. I don't think Brandt would be a good signing right now. Only one that could be in our range is Martial but I doubt United would be willing to sell as they don't have enough depth in attack.

Brandt wouldn't be a good signing ever... Maybe we can get some Shitty reject now that they have 4 million wingers?!
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

You're not allowed to say that as soon as they're connected to us - we only get definite WC able to play in a CL final, don't you know?!

2017/18 Generic Transfer Thread

Postby Firefox1234 » Sat Jul 08, 2017 5:27 pm

I'm sure the likes of Uli and KHR are doing the proper snooping but it will obviously have to be a sensible transfer and nothing like the splurging we see from English clubs so far....

Edit: let's not forget Javi Martinez's transfer was completed a couple days short of deadline day so Bayern are comfortable taking the whole window to find their right guy....

How many of you think a winger could still come?
We aren't being linked with anybody but that still leaves us with 3 possibilities:
1.Surprise signing.
2.Gnabry to replace costa.(Highly unlikely..Board has lost the plot but certainly not its head.)
3.Muller will take over Costa's role.(This is what I think Carlo is planning, though I personally don't want it.)

I know most will disagree, but if we can't get a WC winger in this window, I'd love to get Schurrle as a back up. Never had a problem scoring for the national team and became a great impact sub. That's something we could use when chasing a game.
