I'm sure he was being sarcastic.

Yeap.:)

Didn't know about THE CLUB though:

"If you're looking for a different place than the usual hang-outs, if you feel adventurous and want to be entertained and pampered in sophistication, class and style, Steam Club is your only option!

Steam will change your idea of clubbing forever. Our beautiful women are waiting for you at Steam and invite you to spend your evening in their company and promise to relax and entertain you. Surely an invite you cannot refuse whilst in Malta.

Steam is the perfect place for those who wish to pass their time in a luxurious, fun and exciting atmosphere. The passionate world at Steam is complimented by intense architectural design, the latest advances in sound and lightning and women most men only dream about.

Steam, surely the finest Gentlemen's Club in Malta, with ladies known not only for their beauty, but also for their charm."

I hope that by "different place than the usual" and "adventurous" it does not mean:

Now, that's a rude thing to ask, whether someone has sold their soul or not.

That's strange, it's works perfectly for me.

There is an option in settings "Allow automatic update of apps" or something like that. I don't know if that includes the store as well or just the apps, but you could try switching it off.

This.

I also remember a GApps update that messed up things in my old LG.

So, I spilled a big cup of tea on my laptop an hour ago. I drained as much water as I can, and (stupidly out of anger) turned it on. It went to the welcome startup page (Toshiba) and it stuck. It wouldn't force shut down, so I (stupidly out of anger) removed the battery and put it back. The screen was on, stuck on a plain white display. Now it doesn't even power up. Warranty expired.

RIP?

Yes, you've been very silly. Once you drop any liquid on any piece of electronics, the first thing to do is to remove the power sources (electricity or battery) as quickly as you physically can, in order to avoid any short circuits, and then letting it dry (perhaps it may need to be opened up and dried with a hair dryer).

In your case, since the damage's already been done, it's hard to say if you're looking at a piece of scrap or something that could be fixed. You need to take it to an expert in this case.
